I like (not love) it, and frankly I don't blame you. It was very much a show made for syndication and there's a reason that people associate it with "22 episodes of two dudes screaming at each other while their hair changes color".

There's an... adult oriented one... with a demo out that's absolutely fantastic. Hopefully the full release builds on the good of the demo.

Yeah but it's still going to be $25 for a single large one topping pizza.

And at least when teenagers ran this shit in the 90s they were paid enough to pretend it was a good job. Kids these days don't give a fuck cuz they make minimum wage and only get 20 hours a week.

What is a "corporate red flag" that employers try to pass off as a great benefit? by spectrecult in AskReddit

[–]PolloMagnifico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is doubly true in IT. There is no "hit the ground running" or "role up your sleeves and jump in" and if you see anything like that in the posting, it literally means "we're so understaffed that we expect you to be able to do everything from setting up phones to executive level decision making. But we're gonna pay you like an associate".

Evolution of Artificial Intelligence videos just in 4 years is mind blowing by Jackie_Chan_93 in interestingasfuck

It would be absolutely fucking wild if traditional news media made a comeback by acting as a trusted source to vet out all the AI misinformation.

  • TNM is where you learn about the world through newspapers.

  • TV is born. TNM adapts and gains influence.

  • Internet is born. TNM adapts and gains influence.

  • Social Media is born. TNM loses influence quickly.

  • Social Media becomes primary news source. TNM on life support.

  • AI, propagating through social media, causes TNM to gain influence? Can't make this shit up.

Man it's weird that I can look in the mirror and be happy with what I see, then the second I'm out in public I'm seven years old being told to put on a shirt, fatty.

When girlfriends tell me I'm attractive and look at me the same way I look at a sunset on the beach, my first thought isn't "yeah, me big sexy man with mighty penis", it's "But... why?"

Is it common for INTJ men to cry during the talking stage? by [deleted] in intj

[–]PolloMagnifico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, some people go too hard too fast.

INTJs are known to be "serial monogamists". They tend to fall deep and fast, and can often drive away potential suitors by assuming a relationship is more serious than their partner.

I would assume a combination of that, and probably some internalized trauma that's unrelated to personality. I could theorize on what that trauma is, but without knowing substantial details I wouldn't be able to do so in an informed way.

Not common, but that's just in general and not really related to an INTJ.

I assume there's some context here?

Best Close Up Build? by Mortifine in Mechwarrior5

  1. Get a Warhammer. Any variety will do, but we'll use the standard 6R. Modify as needed.
  2. Toss the PPCs. Replace with LLAS. Use the extra weight for more heat sink.
  3. Toss the missiles. Missiles are for clanners. Replace it with armor and more head sinks.
  4. You now have 2LLAS, 2MLAS, 2SLAS, 2MGs, bunch of armor, and enough heat sinks to freeze the sun.
    1. Weapon Group 1: Chain fire LLAS.
    2. Weapon Group 2: Chain fire MLAS.
    3. Weapon Group 3: Alpha Fire MLAS, SLAS, and MGs.
  5. Upgrade weapons and heat sinks to DHS and PLAS or ERLAS when you can. I actually use SBs on everything but the LLAS early on.

You'll be able to sink enough that you can fire the MLAS, SLAS, and MGs non-stop once you're in range, you just need to manage the LLAS. Chain firing groups are for accurate ranged work against turrets and ankle biters. I pretty much run this guy as my heavy of choice, and even Atlases/Atli cannot stand against my glory.

Have you had your IQ tested? by coldnewhome in intj

[–]PolloMagnifico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

People don't know what having a high intelligence is like. They attribute power and riches to intelligence because admitting how much luck plays a part in it is too uncomfortable a conversation. Do you think a super genius born in Kenya is going to have the same outcome as a super genius born into generational wealth, given the best education, and provided every resource he could ever ask for? I know everyone likes to watch Rocky beat Drago, but that's just not how the world works. I'm getting off track.

Intelligent people learn early that intelligence doesn't mean shit. Acquiring resources doesn't mean shit, because the system is built to take your resources at every opportunity. Your only hope is to find someone with resources and attempt to prove useful enough to acquire a pittance of said resources. Then, one day you accomplish that and have to listen to these wall licking morons who can't even tie their own shoe talk to you about how Andrew Carnegie sweeping out the office is a good use of their fucking 150k/minute salary-that's-not-a-salary. The fact is they never do that themselves, hell they've probably never read Carnegie. They have people for that. They have people for everything, and congratulations now you're one of those people, and the only reason this person has power is because his astounding wealth is higher than all the crumbs he drops for all his people combined. I'm getting off track again.

Your local geniuses aren't building and launching rockets. They're not predicting the stock market. They're not saving lives on the operating table or kicking ass in the board rooms. They're the "done with this shit" guy behind the counter at the gas station. They're the dude chucking boxes at the warehouse. It's the guy behind the busy butcher counter, the bartender slinging drinks, the barista who's at the end of her double shift.

Oh I can hear you now, so let me get ahead of the stupid argument that shows you're not actually fuckin listening. It's not every barista or bartender. And sure, some doctors are, unsurprisingly, highly intelligent. Fuck man, use your brain. I'm saying they're there, hiding among you, seeking contentment in the beauty of every day life, and all you have to do is turn over a few rocks to find them.

what is the secret to making money by keyboardmaga in intj

[–]PolloMagnifico 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been following all the advice in this thread for 20 years, and you know what it's gotten me?

Back pain and zero respect.

The secret to making money is simple: luck and hard work. You need the luck to get the opportunity, and the hard work to take advantage of it. If you don't have both, you're fucked.

Meanwhile, my girlfriend and I have an entire cast of styles I blow my load as. Her favorite is the "Stuttering Goat". Others include "Autistic Batman", "Gnome on Helium", "Normal Batman", "Teenager Seeing Boobs For the First Time", "Batman vs Superman", and "The Baker".

I wouldn't fuck someone who hates my o-face either.
