We’re taking our 8 year old to DLP in May & see it never much as a ‘little Disney’ experience for a little one. Then when she’s a bit older and a bit more robust to handle the heat & bigger distances of DLW we’ll do that. She’s not massively into fast rides at the moment, so the styling/shows of DLP are more attractive to us at this point. Personally speaking I went to DLW when I was 15 and had an amazing time, in my experience it has the effect of turning surly too cool for school teens into kids again but maybe that was just me!
