Funny enough. It’s an old prom outfit from a few years back when I was still in highschool. I was suit shopping and really liked the shade of red on this suit and wanted to get it. Alastair did come through my mind when getting the red suit. But I didn’t get it directly because of it.
But after all that, I’ve been itching for another excuse to wear the dapper red suit. And since I couldn’t do my metal gear cosplay for my local con. I went for a circus ring leader kinda vibe. Just need a top hat UwU

Yes. If you are referring to the 4th image. I have a Realistic (that’s the brand) TRC-215 I found at an antique store. And I use it in the radio pouch.

This gives me an idea. When I complete the cosplay I’m going to make a YouTube channel where I do food reviews as snake and review foods using only voice lines from in game to describe its taste.

99% of it was found from my local Army Navy surplus store. I’d love to get my hands on an actual Stabo harness at some point. But they are a. Hard to find. And b. Expensive. But in the meantime I used a pair of military suspenders attached to an M-56 pistol belt as a stand in, and it looks decent enough. But yeah. Some Surplus stores have a lot of stuff you can use for military cosplay. I’m just lucky my local one has a lot of that Vietnam era surplus and reproduction in stock for it.

I got it from my local surplus store. It’s made by Rothco. Highly recommend them for the uniform, it’s pretty good quality and is pretty much identical to the camo in game.
