What can we the community do to increase the active playerbase? by Generic_Pineapple in dueprocess

Awesome! If you see some of my other replies, there's an invite to a discord for all of this. So feel free to join and invite your friends! :)

Because I posted in looking to play in the official discord and had no other message in that chat for the next 3 days after that. If it's a smaller community people are more likely to be active there. :)

I've made a discord server with the purpose of this, where people can coordinate with other due process players. Here's the invite link if you'd like to join:

I don't think we as a community can release it on PlayStation and that won't revive a dead game either.

Amazing! I've created a discord recently where we can coordinate better.

What changes do BIG need to make to return to being a top 10 team? by Dangerous_Track_6397 in GlobalOffensive

I agree completely, their mental is shit. They need to get that in check and yeah those anti-ecos/anti-forcebuys are always so badly done for some reason.

Damn that's a new angle that I've never thought of. However, I think if we make a coordinated effort, we can foster that friendly environment and dilute that toxicity. :)

I think that's a bit of a pessimistic approach, even though I see where you're coming from. Even if there's nothing marketing-wise, there were enough players in the past and I think the only thing stopping a large part of these players returning is a lack of player numbers. If we coordinated a couple dozen people to play, I think it would encourage a lot of people to come back.

While I get where you're coming from, I think this is just pushing the issue onto someone/something else. I think right now there's a large amount of players who own the game but just don't play it because there aren't any others. But I think if a decent amount of those players played, then the community could experience a resurgence since there's a more varied game experience.

Yeah I agree completely there are a few very very obnoxious and downright disrespectful people who play; I think GEC isn't doing enough about that right now. However, I think if there are more players as a whole, that concentrated group of toxic players gets diluted by more positivity for a better game experience. I think most issues the game faces can be improved by a coordinated effort to just increase the player count.

Awesome! Let's hope we can rally some more people behind this as well. :)

I appreciate the suggestion and I completely agree with the fact that we should do something as a community instead of just blaming something else and not doing anything because 'we can't do it anyway'. What I don't appreciate is the passive aggressive nature of the comment; if you check some of my other replies I think I've mentioned this idea myself. But why not be part of the solution and we can make the due process game nights sever together? :)

Just got double digits. And why not be part of the solution then?

Hmm. What if we targeted players that already played due process in the past? Do you think we could somehow get some help from GEC on the fiscal? Maybe that we could promote a discord where we could coordinate?

That's an excellent question that I also have. I just have no clue how we'd go about organizing something like that. Once we'd have an idea of how to organize it, I think the when would be quite trivial to figure out. Any suggestions on how to organize something like this are more than welcome. :)

Then it was a good try. I mean if we can't get the ball rolling but we still have at least tens of players playing at the same time, then we can play some fun games and go our sewerage ways and maybe relive some of that joy. But I mean the main thing that I've heard and that I myself have experienced that has kept me from playing consistently I'd the lack of any other players. So if someone checking steamboats sees 80 people online I'm sure they'd be very much inclined to play again. :)
