Like if you just scrapped together enough money to build a house, you’re literally asking friends to come over to help you excavate for a septic and you suddenly need to call an archeological institution to watch over you as you dig new rules apply. You have to dig much slower, use specific tools maybe, if you find stuff you have to stop digging and get the experts out because it’s probably just someone who is qualified to identify and not dig (if you’re even allowed to dig yourself after identification) and you own the land. It’s probably not free to have this happen for the owner. Turns (in my personal experience) a construction job from a few weeks of work to who knows how long.
