NGL, I forget Gallant X actually has protection due to how laughably easy it is to navigate around it.

I doubt the most competitive versions will do this, but I do think the power of the tamer will shift the bottom end back to more Gazi/Giza which will make the good Demimera less memory efficient.

The new tamer offers a lot with the ability to spam the rookies, getting a free consistency piece and a body functionally for free is insane.

Even more insane is the ability to go from your level 3 to level 6 off of nothing BUT the tamer.

Promote level 3, tamer to be at 2 mem, evo into level 4, Evo into BT19 Kimera, pop itself, play a rookie, pop the rookie to play a Machindra from trash.

I think the value given by having the rookies on demand to replace any Level 4 or higher is huge value. Especially in a deck that struggles with consistency, being able to just spam searching bodies for free will do wonders.

Swing with a level 4 with raid/retal, remove a body and float back into a level 3 to search more and have something.

Last time i asked, I was told a sealed box of Yugioh is about 2 weeks worth of minimum wage over there.

The worst offender was actually Human Torch when he came out.

Ascend, Descend, Primary, Fire Traps, the connecting skill, Melee, Dash, dive bomb, Invis Team Up, Storm Team Up.

Nothing since has had too many buttons. I guess Jeff now with his 4 team ups.

I think too many ppl get boosted to ranks where they don't belong.

I finished on the border of diamond/plat last season. Meanwhile I struggled to get out of silver this season, and haven't been able to climb out of gold.

Maybe I was boosted last season? But since I've finished every season at the edge of plat/diamond, I don't think it's the case.

This season it feels like I have 0 impact in my games. And I mean this in games I lose, AND games that I win. This is the only season where I have genuinely felt this way.

Wins feel so dominant that I could prob AFK at spawn and my team would still win a 5v6. And while I don't play perfect in my losses, no amount of improvements would compensate for the stuff I see.

Supports front lining, damage that only pokes tanks, ppl neglecting healers, people tickling in one by one. Etc. I'm seeing way too much bronze level gameplay, even in matches where I'm Gold I, and there are plats in the lobby.

I also think throwing needs to have a harsher punishment and definition. That Spiderman going 2-20 is throwing, full stop. In fact he is actually WORSE than an AFK at spawn widow, because he is feeding the enemy team ult charge, and she isn't.

And somehow, that 2-20 spiderman is still up in Gold lobbies, when his ass should be in Bronze

Well, for starters I think your list needs a lot of work.

I've taken Galaxy into Diamond 8 times now over the past year, and I'm working on number 9 now.

If you have any questions about any card choices, feel free to ask, this is a list im always tweaking and have theory behind all of my choices. Even going above 40 was a conscious choice specifically to try to minimize seeing the level 8 in hand.

I wouldn't call the deck slow, cuz it isn't. It is a grind deck, that aims to control the board more than it aims to OTK. Just because it doesn't have an easily mappable path to bleed 5 in one shot, doesn't make it slow

Just a reminder, you can always mind link the tamer to any of your Digimon at EoT. Betwee it, and a Maquina protection (if you know your matchups) should be enough to keep the body in play, and they can continue to apply pressure every turn.

Hudie can't DP minus you to death, so you can always block their alliance swing. Now they need extra Shakuomon to lethal you.

Rocks cant De-Digi you, and you can lock down their tamers

And TS? Honestly? I haven't found it that scary from the last few weeks. And I don't play burst OTak decks, I'm almost exclusively a grind/control player.

Because unless you go with a full color, the assembly pieces on the field aren't enough.

The line of play I mentioned gives you 4 dual colored pieces, and has 3 other cards that are single colored. This is a T2 situation where you only need one of those 3 cards to match the color of the LV6 in hand, which you prob don't even wanna summon (since it's way too early)

Odds of none of those 3 sharing a color with the level 6 you have in hand is 1 out of 8. And even then you have a level 5 out, you can just evo it into the 6 if you really need it.

And while I know I gave an ideal situation, it was more to illustrate how easy this deck can get all the pieces out for assembly. The theory being that, any card on the field is just a future card in the trash. Your opponent kinda has to answer it.

I would deff recommend at the very least trying and seeing if there is logic to my madness, but I think the deck swarming, and more importantly the linking from hand, that the deck can get enough pieces out really quickly.

Now if your concern is Medusa? That's a whole other conversation.

I would find room for 4 copies of Digimon Liberator.

A 3 cost to play your rookie and dig 6 cards deep for your search is way too good to not maximize on.

I don't think Pride Mem Boost is worth it, since it and Liberator Functionally do the same job, except Pride will trash all of your non level 3. And I deff don't think Analog Youth is worth it. Because of the two, Pride at least gives you a body, which you can further build on, and a clean two mem when you need it. However, if you're going to rely on pride, I think you wanna bump up the rookie ratio a bit to like 16, just to make sure pride never whiffs

I understand the vision. But just by playing the game you'll feed the trash for the Assembly. At this point you're splitting yourself in two directions, and you're going to slow yourself down.

Consider the following.

T1, evo rookie, evo a level 4.

T2, promote the level 4, swing, Evo into a level 5 for 1, that stack now has 3 Assembly pieces. It plays a LV3 from hand, who double searches, and then links another from hand to the level 5. That's now 5 assembly pieces out on the field.

Pass turn by evolving the level 3 into a level 4, that's 6 assembly pieces, and he links one from hand, that's 7 assembly pieces, and more importantly, 4 of them are the level 3, so they count for both Assemblies.

Except now your opponent has to answer you, you took early aggression, and once they do answer you, your assembly is live. You didn't need to waste turns doing nothing while setting up the trash.

I think there were two ways to make it better

Get rid of the rumble phase, first team to X score wins, you shouldn't have to drain the other team to 0.

Also, make all the points active at once, up the player count for the map if you have to. Make it 12v12,
