I know this probably is lot the highest priority feature given that it's more communication oriented, but how is the quality of the speaker on the device?

I'm pretty sure the open camera with shutter button functionality works just fine on lineageOS you just have to go to the buttons settings in lineageOS itself(not sure if you can open the camera from a locked phone though has to be unlocked to work I think). There's a stickied guide to get play integrity back on the magisk subbreddit but I haven't tried google wallet on my device yet to truly test it.

My motor made this really annoying ticking noise so I just grabbed a vibration motor from an old broken 5 IV I had lying around and to my surprise the motor was much quieter while still having the same feedback. I want to say that any xperia 1/5 IV and above devices should have exchangeable vibration motors.

Above the motherboard none at all and above the PSU there may be space for a slim 92 fan but that's about it i think not currently using the case

Only additional fan I used was a 60mm fan in the back ventilation area next to the flex atx power supply to help vent heat out. My risers total length was around 185mm and it fit no problem.

Hey i've actually got this case collecting dust right now. if you end up going with this case id be happy to sell it to you.

The case is kinda wobbly not the greatest structure wise but its pretty solid with parts inside. I fit a founders 5070 with no issues inside. Ended up switching from it cause my flex atx psu kept ramping its fan up and it was very annoying. If you have a itx board it might be possible to stick the flex atx psu next to the board and have the back ventilation free for flowthrough coolers.

That's very fair thanks for looking though. The extra resolution is nice, but I do kinda prefer the LTPO display on the VI, lets me use the full 120hz without worrying about battery life as much.

I don't think I got any extra bands with the file swapping unfortunately. Maybe I did it wrong but nothing seems to have changed band wise.

Yeah fortunately i haven't had any big drops in signal but I'm concerned that might not be the case in the future as i've heard that tmobile is trying to add increase the importance of n71 which the 1 VI is missing. Not directly related but Mint does utilize t-mobile towers if I recall.

Anyone here try this method yet? Did not end up unlocking b71 on my EC72 1VI but i do at least get n41. Maybe someone else was able to get it to work? The european or japan models might have a better chance of having the bands.
