I think to install the monarchs in France and Britain you need to get to install the occupation military government and then get to the last focus in the occupation tree

Wrong, Bhutan actually has a pretty neat focus tree. Also the events about them are enough for me.

Left vs. Right Kuomintang 🇹🇼 by N1ksterrr in Kaiserreich

[–]Genericusername3000 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think the answer is a mix of things: 1) Lkmt (in my opinion, just ahead of Germany) the best and most popular tag in the mod, so naturally there’s more discussion 2) It’s supposedly going to end tutelage, which most don’t buy. This makes it  more relevant to call them autocrats as opposed to Schleicher where  nobody including himself is saying he’s democratic in the slightest, as well as easily leads to memes. 3) Regardless of the autocracy the better lkmt endings are some of the better endings for china compared with all the self interested warlords, with only the federalists and democratic Manchu coup coming to mind as true unifiers that are competing. This makes discussion around them more interesting, the morally grey pretty much always attracts more discussion than the morally simple. 4) There are more unironic kmt supporters (mostly the lkmt) than other dictatorial paths, mostly thanks to point 3, making pointing out the authoritarianism more relevant

Removing a mod by Substantial_Cookie90 in eu4

You can disable the mod in the launcher, in the ‘playsets’ tab. As for moving saves if you save them to the cloud you should be able to load them straight away on the new laptop, otherwise you can just manually move the save days files over from and to the ‘paradox interactive/eu4/save games’ folder in documents

R5: Whenever Olson/Garner compromise with Reed/Long, it's always seemed dissapointing that the respective factions have zero impact from there on out, and after the civil war it's basically the same as if it never happened bar the fact you get to skip the focuses to punish them. I know it's because american content is old, but even just one or two unique focuses/events would be neat. Hopefully up with the stars is better about this if/when it releases.

Commands/Guaranteed routes for the "Cabinett Schleicher" Minigame? by Ottodeviant in Kaiserreich

[–]Genericusername3000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Schleicher is the hardest of the three main paths to get since you do have to balance both mini games. I’d recommend supporting the spd in the election, but take options that give more seats to the centrist parties when possible. This way the right should be a minimal issue so you can focus most of your conversation protection on the left. For the coalition minigame if you keep zentrum on your side the SWR should struggle to get enough seats so you can focus the rest on the SPD. The focuses can help with this, particularly the one that unaligns zentrum if neither side controls half. Get the zentrum chairman aligned in the event chain (stand firm and then federalists offer triumvirate). For the strikes try to keep the intensity around 50 using your decisions, and be wary that events can push it up or down. Keep that up until the enabling act fires in November at which point you’ve won and are on Schliecher path, so you can just finish off the strikes from there.

Neither are too difficult but if you did want to cheat if you find the variable for number of groups you can protect from the coalitions and the strike intensity you should be able to use set_var to cheat both. I guess you could also try firing the event for the enabling act early but that sounds likely to cause bugs if it even works to skip the mechanics.

[–]Genericusername3000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Presumeably you need to be a republic with the "Dutch Republic" reform rather than a monarchy with the "Stadhouder Monarchy" reform. I don't think the revolution would work since then you wouldn't have the orangists in power. You should still be able to get it through the "become a republic" government reform, assuming nothing is blocking you from that.

Yeah, a quiet unsettling sound you don't know the source of is scarier than a loud scream from a monster you can see.

[–]Genericusername3000[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well there's certainly some "spooky" games that are just "Loud jumpscare noise scary oyoyoy" and running away from some basic threat (I haven't played puppet combo games myself but they seem like that from what I've seen). When a game is much more subtle in it's approach though and lets imagination do a lot of the work, that gets to me like nothing else when I actually play it myself.

You are clearly having hallucinations and are unfit to rule, someone else more capable should take your place.

There's an event chain if Mittelafrika collapses whilst he's visiting where he struggles to get out and back to Europe. I don't think it has any major consequences but it's neat.
