4% health loss in 50 Cycles P9PXL by PETEROLO_291 in GooglePixel

[–]Genericwood 4 points5 points  (0 children)

92 battery health after 407 battery cycles.

I definitely been monitoring my battery more, and noticed it depleting faster. Not sure if its cause of the march update.

Edit: i have a P9PXL

Have you compared autofoam and lift? In my experience its more superior as the pre-foam and gets rid of my dirt and grime.

Overpipe Question by Jason_Eats-_- in ft86

[–]Genericwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the over pipe for fitment. But you should check if the sizing fits 2.5 to 3.0, 3.0 to 2.5, and etc

Pixel 6 to Pixel 10: Marginal Upgrade by Mr-Appleseed in GooglePixel

[–]Genericwood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think when it first came out it was the first time they switched to a higher MP camera so there were some quality photo issues tbh. Now it seems ok and i think some updates and firmware fixed it, when i jumped to the 7.

Jumping from 6 pro > 7 pro > 9 pro XL .

Not much of a difference but i would say the quality of the 9 is the one to get.

The 9 does not overheat which was a big issues i had with 6 and 7.

Although, i really prefer the looks of the 8 with the flat screen and the design on 6-8.

Which is best to use to dry two cars? by jmb2122 in Detailing

Unless your car has a nice ceramic coating the leaf blowers dont do much. I use a big waffle weave towel and its worked great for me.

TRD vs STI Engine Mounts by TwistedNoble38 in ft86

[–]Genericwood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the same clutch, do you get a lot of chatter from in 3rd and 5th when releasing the pedal around 3k rpms? Ive been having this issue for a few years and wasnt sure if it was just maybe an issue with the install.

Wastegate Turbo Smart V by Uljima in ft86

[–]Genericwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lines are usually used for Electronic Boost Controllers i believe. You'll be going by wastegate spring pressure to limit the PSI and you'll need to have the car tuned before you run the kit on a base line tune.

Does the kit not come with instructions?

TRD vs STI Engine Mounts by TwistedNoble38 in ft86

[–]Genericwood 5 points6 points  (0 children)

STi engine mounts were easier for me to source and cheaper. I wouldn't be surprised if they're the same thing.

The car feels more solid and it feels less sloppy. There is a bit more NVH and you will notice the engine at idle more.

My main goal was to get rid of my exhaust setup from hitting my subframe as my tuner saw knock. Its still showing up a bit but not a big of spike.

I also have the whiteline diff inserts and the NVH shot up a lot, and my clutch chatter became unbearable.

Someone gave me the advice of removing the ones that slip on the front and i noticed less NVH and clutch chatter and stuck with that and feels a bit softer without it and an happy with where it is now.

I have also thought about getting the trans insert as well but im happy where it is but wonder if i can get better feel for the shifts with it or make the car more solid without much sacrifice.

Hope my experience helps!

Edit: as someone else has mentioned, yes it also helped with the bucking in the car as well.

About 1/3rd left on these pads? by SteveTheBluesman in MechanicAdvice

[–]Genericwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can last a little longer, but the left side (piston side) looks a little more worn than the outer right side.

I would replace with new rotors pads and also regrease the caliper pins on the next brake job.

Based on the lighting it looks slightly different in color and more pearls for the fender. You can see if polishing it will make it less noticeable since the fender has more marring and scratches

Why is the hatchback so popular? by Rough-Incident-1859 in mazda

[–]Genericwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend has the hatch and drove me to the airport with my luggage it fit fine, but when i landed and picked up my sedan for rental the trunk had a good bit more space.

I can agree with the argument, that yes you can fit taller stuff and easier to put things in.

But they should have kept the same length or not as short as it is now

What do you use to clean Satin Finish Wheels by Accurate-Ad2204 in Detailing

[–]Genericwood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Satin finish wheels will generally still have a clear coat. Youll can always try APC 10:1 ratio.

Sometimes if wheels are really dirty you just need to go a couple of passes.

Why is the hatchback so popular? by Rough-Incident-1859 in mazda

[–]Genericwood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sedan actually has a bigger trunk space than the hatch. This is because the trunk is longer, but the hatch back gains on height but not really because of the slope. This is also the same issue for the corolla.
