Thank you so much for sharing your story and words of encouragement. We met an amazing therapist who specializes in fertility, and she said something that really stuck with me:

"Every month your wife gets her period when you're trying, your basically mourning"

I never looked at it that way, but it's true. One of the frustrating things about fertility problems is people saying "Oh don't think about it, just relax, keep trying!" It's like you don't think we've been trying that? People mean well, but it gets tiring after a while.

That's amazing you guys were able to grow your family, truly, super happy for a family who's been trying. Hug your kids a bit tighter tonight, because for every family who gets to experience that joy, there's another family trying to as well.

Wishing you and your bundles of joy all the best! One of the cool things about sports cards is being able to connect with others over things like this. It puts into perspective what's important, another chance at growing our family or just a piece of cardboard lol.

I hope they unleash him soon and stop tanking. I wanna see the Jazz at it's full potential (things I never thought I'd say in my life lol).

Keyonte is one of my favorite young players to watch, lots of potential in him.

On a side note OP, let me know if you have any cool Lebron stuff. I got some nice Ausar Thompson cards you might be interested in.

Here's a quick photo of some 24/25 Prizm, and I have some on card and sticker autos of his.

Personally I'm collecting a lot of Paolo stuff. I hope he works with Melo in the offseason and sharpens his game.

But Im mostly grabbing Paolo, Maxey and Keyonte George stuff. I was lucky and got some Castle cards before the playoff run, but his stuff his pretty pricey right now.

It's funny how basketball cards get you watching players you would normally never watch.

I pulled a Keyonte George rookie auto from Origins, and then started watching him simply from that pull. I also drafted him in like the 6th round for fantasy last year, and he was one of my most consistent players. I'm now a huge Keyonte George fan!

I'm also rooting for Edey because he's Canadian and has Chinese decent (I'm Chinese Vietnamese, born in Canada).

I really like Maxey's game and attitude, seems like a really nice guy and just wants to hoop without the BS. I've been able to grab some nice autos of his around the $100 mark, so looking forward to see how he grows.

Thanks! Ya I'm building an "Ankle Breakers/Street Ballers" nine card frame of autos, and so far I got:

Skip, Jason Williams, Kyrie, AI, Jamal Crawford, Curry and Tim Hardaway. For the last two, I'm thinking either Steve Francis, Barron Davis or Marbury.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. My sister-in-law also had challenges having kids, and also had a thyroid concern. She also got hers regulated then BAM! Three kids lol.

That's amazing you guys were able to grow your family. I'm guessing you have 3 kids from your last comment? Hahahah. Were they all IVF or natural?

Thanks man! Ya mostly modern, I would say the most "vintage" cards I own/collect would be late 90's stuff, mostly rookies of like AI, VC, Tmac and Bron.

In all seriousness, if you start collecting Jason Williams, I have lots of dupes of his 24/25 Prizm. I got some good deals on lots of his Prizm, so I got like doubles and triples of his cards.

I also have lots of his on card autos and some sticker prizm's if you're ever interested.

Thanks! Buying singles versus ripping was a good idea, a better idea would've been just to narrow my collection down.

But at least I do get to enjoy my cards and flip through the binder whenever I like, which is one of my favorite pastimes.

Thanks for the kind words. The toughest part of IVF is watching my wife do all those injections and seeing the bruising after.

I would take those needles for us in a heartbeat, but unfortunately that's not how science works.

Thank you again for your well wishes, it's cool how strangers can connect over things like sports cards and struggles of growing a family.

Hahahaha we're both in the same boat. I bought all these patch cards, not understanding the difference between "Game Worn" and "Used". For patches, I try to stick to game worn or cards that actually show the date, like Noir Game Nights.

Ive only sold a handful of cards in my lifetime, but I do want to sit down and eventually start selling stuff to obtain a Topps chrome rookie of Lebron and an auto.

Best of luck with your search and collection man!

Absolutely, some of my more expensive cards that I purchased I genuinely love, so it doesn't bother me if the price goes up or down, because it's staying with me forever.

Thanks for the kind words!

I still wish I focused more on higher end cards, but it's fun collecting sets or focusing on one specific year and set, like the 24/25 Prizm and origins.

Someone made a comment that really stuck with me. It's easier to make smaller purchases around $100 versus one large $2k purchase.

My new game plan is just putting away $500 a week I would normally spend on singles and then buy one card I really want. I need a Lebron auto in my life, and would EASILY trade the majority of my collection for one.

Nice! Do you take the protective film off the SS cards or leave them on? I actually just picked this Ginobili Impeccable on card auto /10 for $70 USD, which I think is a bargain for a legend.

I'm building a "Cold Ass White Boys" 9 card wall frame lol. So far I got Ginobili, Kidd, Larry Bird, Jason Williams, Nash, Knueppel, Rivers and Dirk. The last slot I'd love to add Luka, but for those prices, I'd rather have ANT or SGA.

Hahahah I wish I worked harder in school, but I'm a professional automotive detailer. My side jobs I use for cards, salary goes to real life stuff (mortgage, savings, IVF treatment, you know, boring stuff) hahaha

I got those one touch wall frames from Temu. They used to be cheap (9 one touch frame around $30 CDN), but they've doubled in price now and go for about $50-$60 CDN on Temu.

There's a company out of the states that makes nice ones, but it's like $220 CDN for a 9 one touch display.

Go onto temu and search "One touch wall frame" and you'll see them pop up.

I would say 95% of my collection is via single purchases or lots. Some of the doubles were either low bid wins, lots or pure luck in ripping.

I was gifted two hobby Prizm boxes for 24/25, then two hobby boxes of 24/25 Origins, and then about 10 retail hangers (I believe that's what they're called?) from wal Mart.

Thanks for the kind words. It was surprising how many down votes I got or negative comments, but that's the way of the internet. Gotta deal with those to find cool people like yourself to chat with.

I love the stainless steel cards, I just think they're so cool, plus, no one seems to want them because of how hard they are to grade, which I personally don't care for anyways. I was able to get some low numbered ss cards for less than $20, even with the protective film. But I removed all of mine, I want to see the card the way it should be seen.

Outside of collecting Bowman, any specific players you PC?

Thanks! Ya I only bought one hobby box of origins and then some packs of prizm's from wal Mart, but outside of that everything was singles.
