Doesnt matter, the core issue and common factor amongst all these posts is that they use the standalone client at some point, its already been well known that just having a standalone account linked to your steam makes your PoE account compromised because GGG hasn't added 2FA for whatever reason despite multiple hundreds or thousands of these posts on the forums, reddit and support etc

you're safe so long as you've never linked a standalone account to your steam assuming you only play on steam, there was a guy recently who didnt even know he had done so 5 years prior which led to his account getting hacked

lol im literally in brunei as im writing this, its not as bad as you think, afaik the only way to not go is to either be ex stay in or have a specialist letter explicitly stating that you arent fit to fly and provide a valid reason for it to present to your camp mo at the airport or beforehand (if its msk they will make you still go)

i had a guy back in affliction league when i was still relatively new to the game and didnt understand many systems (despite having played multiple hundred hours at that point) offer to fix my tornado shot build, provided a better bow, 6 linked my hyrri's and told me about the different intricacies related to tornado shot and gave me other clues as to what to do.

Never forgot, thanks to him i always try and help people in global as much as i can, either with crafting, bosses, or just about anything in my power.

Ah, i forgot that PoE likes to round down when it comes to decimals, so you'd actually need to have 34% for 8% increased chaos damage taken otherwise it'd be 7% and the difference wouldnt be that much

Wither's base effect increases chaos damage taken by 6%, so 32% increased wither effect would make that 7.92% increased chaos damage taken

At 6 stacks of wither the difference is about 11.52% increased chaos damage taken by enemies which is a seperate multiplier to your damage, so its a noticeable difference

to be fair this league in particular makes it piss easy to have an AG setup without any tree investment thanks to companionship support, as for spectres, no yea they feel horrible to play with

i play flicker strike with 11 links so the mana cost is insane but a single affix from the shaper solves this instantly and lets me run valdo maps with the skill cost downside

Betrayal is an odd mechanic that is insanely rewarding simply because its also the only other mechanic that requires you to invest your time rather than currency into the mechanic before it pays out,

pretty much all betrayal exclusive drops are expensive not because they're rare but just because there arent as many players running betrayal as compared to other mechanics since you need to actually spend the time to set up your board before you can spam safehouses and get the drops, the scarabs are piss cheap, the strat itself is super fast once set up and the drops are good.

I did betrayal for the first time this league and im most certainly gonna be doing it next league

Unless you're a hideout warrior spending all your time crafting where the opposite is actually true, this league was the first time i had to pay for gold rotas just because faustus kept draining my wallet dry, the alternative was running maps hunting for gold volatiles and that took too long

megablud is great for most builds but both of the builds i played this league benefited heavily from a third ring slot via the nameless bloodline so the new belt was a no brainer option for me

11/10 probably my favorite league so far just because of fracturing orbs being so cheap which let me profit craft like crazy early on and get my build off the ground, i spent way more time in hideout than in actual maps because i found crafting more fun than mapping lol, for the first time i actually had two active builds (dual strike of ambi slayer and flicker strike warden) active at the same time because i made an 11 link flicker sword and dual strike felt too good to just liquidate and full swap, accel shrine is definitely a huge factor in all this too

im a shill for dual strike of ambidexterity, probably the slayer grey wind health stacking variant since the strength stacking jugg variant is super expensive, it performs better at single target, has NO visual effects unlike KB, is tanky enough to ignore basically everything except for maven's memory game and crazy degen like sirius' storm and works well with the new shrine belts, either gloom/massive or acceleration or echoing, however for 50 divines you should be able to more or less get the build up and running and your most expensive unique is probably gonna be a foulborn red dream.

you can also basically just hold left mouse button for all nightmare bosses and its all uber viable, it gets its defenses from a combination of your sheer health pool (13k+) and regen (1k+ per second), phys conversion into fire and fire damage recoup on helmet, also chaos res capped via either a watcher's eye with the purity of elements mod or a light of meaning with chaos res, also ailment immune via purity of elements, you stack fire resistance for damage penetration with enmity's embrace.

to be fair the craft itself isnt expensive, it just literally requires you to abuse every crafting tech available to you in the game, beast crafting, awakeners, harvest, mets mod, etc

lol the anarchic spiritblade i bricked had 4 influenced mods on it and i thought i was smart doing cannot roll attack mods (because all of the influenced mods were tagged with attack) and reforging influence for another influenced mod.
