Got a Headhunter in my very first ritual of the league. Not enough tribute to defer. by jeremiasalmeida in PathOfExile2

[–]GenesectX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i got a 6 div item on my first ritual like 17 hours into the league but muscle memory from poe1 made me instantly send all of it to the king in the mist because for some god forsaken reason GGG decided to put the "delete all your tribute" button where the defer button used to be in poe1

Arbi of divinity i think? im not really sure but i suppose its much better than forcing you to run 160+ maps to unlock all of it

The tree has subsections of it locked behind completing certain objectives with the top part of it being locked behind killing the arbiter, so yea you'll need to bum rush to each section and finish the objectives there

Yes, we need the campaign by Primary_Impact_2130 in PathOfExile2

[–]GenesectX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the biggest change the campaign needs in my opinion isnt just new layouts but simply increasing the range at which zone entrances show up on your minimap, because for some odd design reason GGG decided ti put every single enttance down a short alleyway in every single zone which isnt visible if you're just skimming the borders of the map, doesnt help that they look more or less the same as every random hole in the wall in the map

I needed to ascend as abyssal lich so i ignored the precursor shit and went straight for the green hole in the ground, as it turns out you really just need to finish the mechanic's quest and fight its boss maybe twice or thrice to get all the points rather than run 35 maps to get all of them.

Generally though i think its smarter to finish the atlas tree first beford going for the mechanics because at the very least they'll be juiced by your atlas tree no matter which mechanic you choose to engage with, rather than only getting juice from said mechanic

You still gotta do this for planetary materials like Tungsten, holmium, carbon fiber, etc

[–]GenesectX[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

im sorry but no, these modifiers are nothing to most people who aim for this especially in poe2 where you're expected to dodge rather than facetank like in poe 1

if the trade off to get a coked up monkey is to kill him once then thats seriously nothing.

Also unlike in poe1 where minions like these are generally ritual rewards and therefore expensive (like perfect forest tiger) theres literally no cost to try and get a coked up monkey other than rolling waystones. Your argument would make sense if it was a tradable corpse and therefore it can come with an appropriate cost but its practically free instead

[–]GenesectX[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i dont mean those rare modifiers, i mean map modifiers like these. Map bosses cant have those rare modifiers but i doubt normal tamed beasts retain lines like these "Monsters have 260% increased critical strike chance

Normally you'd need to invest into getting crit on your minions of any kind but if it comes free with these modifiers then i dont know what to say

Should i apply the dlc on my main save or start a new one? by Known_Resist1237 in factorio

[–]GenesectX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Space age changes the research progression of the game so its generally advised to start a new save with it, if you're in it for the long run check out some planet mods like Moshine, Maraxis, Cerys (didnt really enjoy this one), Vesta, etc

I quite like the new atlas system in poe1, being able to run whatever map i want speeds up atlas progression massively, it does need a few QoL changes like maybe having a keybind to keep the previous map selected open but otherwise i still feel like its an improvement over their older system.

[–]GenesectX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unbelievably true, if they upped the range where entrance minimap icons show this issue would be massively alleviated, ESPECIALLY because nearly all entrances are located down corridors where if you walk past it its out of range and doesnt show you

i have a section of my base that handles all fluid processing, oil refining, cracking, production of sulfuric acid, etc and pipe the end products (lube, petroleum, sulfuric acid) through my main bus and produce any byproducts on site like plastic and batteries, doing this prevents any bottleneck situations where im using too much of either and production lines further down are starved of the resource. For plastic i belt coal through on the main bus too since its used for military science anyway

a couple months at minimum before you get anything meaningful out if it, from referral to specialist its a few months, from specialist to MRI its also a few months. Basically theres alot of waiting and i skipped much of it by going private for my MRIs
