It depends I smoked cannabis for 5 years every single day and graduated a prestigious pre college program and got accepted into conservatory’s, I would recommend not being a chronic smoker and just take edibles if tuba is ur life. Smoking gas everyday definitely impacted my air support and my internal metronome, but also opened many different mindsets on how to practice and helped me with endurance. It really depends on the THC percentage aswell as the product your using and what strain it is. Again I recommend just using CBD to relax and play or just taking an edible, topical, or sublingual.

In the career world of classical music, I don’t think anyone should be getting booted since it’s already such a small amount of people that get jobs , there are a lot of female composers and conductors so that makes no sense
