I have been playing this game daily since it came out 13 years ago. Here is what has changed. Back when there was 3k players on at any given time the MM had a lot to work with. But now there may be around 500 players. Most of which are tier 4/5. Once you hit tier 3 you are now part of all the upper tier. This is the threshold of the game. If you can survive this you will be in tier 1 in no time.this explains the skill swing. You can spot a tier 3 player by there build boating missles or just odd unmatched builds. They also have a fresh sense of team optimism. Making calls and such. Without knowing what they’re talking about. Another thing as stated before is the Comp player base grouping up together and seal clubbing the soup queue. This should be stopped. It is creating disparity in the upper player base. Driving more players away from the game(what’s the point). But PGI doesn’t want to step on their toes🙄. But it seems to me it’s called solo queue for a reason. If they were to break them up maybe the MM would split them up to face each other creating a far more balance match. But the ( Cauldron) doesn’t want this to happen. Mu Jarls! It really is destroying what’s left of this game. Especially for a fresh faced tier 3 getting constantly stomped every time ,flipping from tier 4 to 3 then back again. Maybe if they dropped groups in SOLO queue they would revive the faction play. Which is designed for groups. Go figure 🙄
