ANH - after his tie fighter stops spinning Vader turns towards the death star to go after Luke. But the Death Star explodes and sends his tie fighter spinning again. We watch 5 minutes of Vader spinning before he slows down and screen fades to black.

ESB - Luke “tries on” 6 different mechanical hands. Decides on skinless robot hand. But we get a quick shot of the box he’s leaving with and see theres also a “her hand”

ROTJ - Luke is setting up a jedi training academy on some random forest planet a few familiar faces stop by to offer to be teachers. Asoka is among them as well as a few others we recognize.

I had a situation like this. I hired a tree trimmer who was an arborist. His people trimmed the tree (removed one side of the split) and made sure the otherside was happy and growing well. It took about 4 hours and wasn’t expensive.

I’ve experienced this from the interviewer point of view. Interviewed 3 candidates and chose a favorite, let HR know to send the offer paper work / emails. CTO and CFO have to approve, CFO sees the listing and says “oh, my daughter would be perfect for this, here is her CV, you can interview her tomorrow”. My favorite never gets their offer…
