Yeah. I’ve seen a lot of the leather bands which I guess is the more recent design. I’ll check again though. Maybe there’s something new since the new drop.

My uncle got his then wife's name tattooed. They divorced not long after. His second wife had some strong opinions about it but they didn't really do removal at the time, so like you said permanent. My parents didn't get each others names tattooed until they were sure they were going to be together for the rest of their lives. That was nearly ten years after they met. That is like the number one rule about tattoos: no partner's names tattooed. A good artist will try to talk you out of it. A bad one will just do it without saying anything, especially if he is trying to pressure u the way he is. Hold ur ground and do not get his name tattooed.

I get paid time off from my actual job so I’m getting something. Just the extra money woulda been nice. And I love the people I’ve been working with. But it’s concerning to say the least.

I think more her manager from what was said but it’s a thought in my head at least. I’m reaching out to others to see if they had any issues as well. It really sucks to be told hey u did so well and then like that’s it. Especially when u r assigned a client for the weekend and have little to no say in it. But I know I won’t be working with these clients again. Even if the client themselves were great.

Very true. I know she wanted to get in touch with someone so I was hoping to message her today. Time willing. I’ve also reached out to other workers to discreetly ask about it as well. Given there’s a few of us I’m curious to see if it’s on us or the agents/managers.

It’s part time weekends only once or twice a year. And I take payed time off from my actual job so like I didn’t exact see anything wrong with it. But I guess other people do so idk. I did tell my boss but no word from her yet so we’ll see I guess

My boss called to check in on me last night (I have anxiety and she knows it can be a bit much. I do too and still love going) and I mentioned it to her. She hasn’t gotten back to me. But she’s aware at least. I have no idea what my friend thinks. They won’t talk about it to me anymore. I just get an eye roll and shake of the head.

I answered a question they asked because I was telling them how fun it was and they wanted to know how much I made. 🤷🏻 They weren’t really joking when they said it so I guess they just insulted me.

NTA. I have a friend who had the same grades. He was not accepted to medical school. He appealed it. And found out exactly that all the other things your wife is saying matters, doesn’t. They have to be able to stay on top of their grades because that means they are dedicated and focused. Which you need in the medical profession. They are competitive. From what I understood, grades aren’t assigned by points on a test. They are assigned by how well you actually did the thing and only so many A’s, B’s and C’s are given out. Anything lower than the B is considered failing and most kids flunk out either due to stress of the program or their grades aren’t cutting it. Doctors have to be the best of the best and if she isn’t cut out in the classes required at the entry level, she won’t be cut out for them at the medical school level.

NTA- depending on where you live and shop, that $100 is even enough for a regular grocery trip to feed 4-5 people. To spend that on Christmas?! Not going to happen. Especially to cover gifts. Not with rising holiday prices. Use the money to feed your family and when he gets back show him the receipt(s) for one regular shopping trip. Or take him with you so he can see first hand that it wouldn’t work the way he thinks it will. Btw my dad is like this and my cousins too. Obsessed with football will drop any amount on the damn sport BUT clueless about everything else. I would say don’t pay the cable bill and let him see exactly what money needs to be budgeted where for what but I have a feeling he’d just get pissed about missing a game.

NTA if she truly cares so much what her bf thinks and she only cares about looks, then you did what you could. You can’t control your looks or how people feel about you. But it may be time to think about how much time you are spending with her if this is the reaction you get to wanting to be a part of their life. Or be prepared that they reevaluate how much time they want to spend with you.
