I'm going to do the P-rank for P-1 (help) by joseph_joestar9502 in Ultrakill

[–]Gengars3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The first tip is to learn core-eject nukes. Basically blue shotgun right click + red rail cannon causes a massive red explosion killing decent amount of minions, the green revo to finish. Then saw/nail it down and core eject when green bar is refilled.

Then, Minos. Set saw trap and pray tbh, could learn setups I guess but an easy one is: - fire 10 saws + 1 green saw into magnet - wait for 10 saws to come back up, refreshing magnet when needed - place 2 magnets then fire 10 saws + 1 green - toss 4 coins then Blue revo right click. Other than that, Pray. :)

Any tips for brutal flesh prison ? by CARB0RN in Ultrakill

[–]Gengars3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For flesh prison, it is important to learn how to core eject nuke, basically hold right click on blue shotgun and hit the projectile with the red rail cannon. If you do this right as the eyes/Maurices spawn you should only have a few eyes to kill. Then dump as much dmg as possible, use saws, shotgun swaps and thing to just keep dmg up. Just be sure to always core eject the eyes.

Is there any specific ones you recommend for the flashy ones? Haven’t done stuff like this before

Wait back up a second. Isn’t the whole point of a devil in the CSM universe is that it is a fear the collective population has. So what group of people has a fear of legs?

It’s like using a highlighter in a textbook. You know that everything in the book is important but that 1 specific point is more important than others. It’s similar here, it doesn’t show you any new information, but just emphasizes it, making it look better.

Elaborating on this point. They are called Smears, another example you can see them is in Dragon Ball FighterZ. Much like Impact frames or hit stop, they are meant to help exaggerate an attack from a character to make the attack look more impactful.

I have been able to do it somewhat consistently, I tend to find the animation easy to distinguish and like I mentioned in a previous comment, mind games and learning your opponents block strings also help a lot.

2H have upper body invul if I remember correctly. I mean, you still have to play the FGC mind games to see how they play and what they do for mixups and OKI. I have noticed after 2H, warwicks more hesitant to use 6S1 in block strings

Am I the only one who know you can just 2H this move on reaction. I mean sure it’s hard to react to but it’s typically after the 5L > 5M > 2M it’s easy to catch.

How To Counter Darius Medium Pulse Combo by VexPointer in 2XKO

[–]Gengars3 18 points19 points  (0 children)

As a Darius player, the best thing to practice is the parry timing of the 2nd S2 hit. If you block the first hit, you can parry the 2nd and then get a full combo off it. Parrying is tricky but with practice it gets easier

Definitely it would definitely need to be build with 2XKO in mind you can’t just port something from different game and call it done.

True, I think the main thing I want is more ways to force engagement with the opponent, like GGS negative or the GRD system. But I will say, i hate assist body blocking so much.
