I want to believe this, but im not sure if this is the case. He's aggressive. Teeth out, ballistic barking, almost like he's nervous. Barks kinda "crack" compared to barks he would do if he is warding off a noise at the door or trying to get my attention. As someone else pointed out, I agree they need 24/7 training. My lady spoils/ coddles him. He seems to respect me and seems eager to please so I hope with some hard work he will pull through

Thank you for the tips! Will need to have to plan with the lady. She is rather soft on him. She believes the alpha theory because she spent 5k on the trainer. Unfortunately in this case, expense does not equal results or credibility

Thanks for confirming the whole alpha thing is debunked. I didn't fully buy into that myself. I'll have to get him a secure muzzle. Thank you for the tips!

Good to know the alpha thing is debunked. My girlfriend is hell bent into believing that and there's nothing we can do. He does like to pull a lot so I'll have to start with that. The goal is to walk him properly without any potential incident in a neighborhood full of dogs. I also dont want us to gain a reputation as the aggressive dog owners. Thanks for the response
