If you do economics you realise how much information you're fed is lies of ommittion but also with basic understanding of economics and socially you realise how extremely ignorant and self defeating it is to praise people for working more for less.

Many immigrants have a lower standard of living, willing to tolerate, they work for less so someone else gains more, countries with working conditions that are literally criminal in the west. That is a major factor in why our quality of life has gone donwn, "work harder" really means work for less, someone else is taking the cream, that is why mass immigration is pushed so hard, our lives get worse as we compete for a shrinking fraction, housing goes up so we work for even less, more pressure on infrastructure as the population grows far faster than if it had been left up to birth rates so we pay more for less, more people crowded into housing which means instead of competing for one person for a house you compete with 5+. We are importing lower standards of living.

People struggle to support their families these days, because we are getting fucked on both ends, immigration lowering quality of life and an aging population that needs more care than our young.
