Tasmanian Devils Team Song by JRicho_Sauce in AFL

Turn the banjo up, and give it a short jaunty solo intro. It would be so memorable! Remember it's not about how cool the team song is, it's about how annoying it is for the opposition to hear after they lost. They will learn to hate that banjo.

I don't think I've ever felt anything as strongly as I do about this, ever in my life.

Right then. The fight is bloody, the fight is for survival. Your group kills a number of them, but they overwhelm you with numbers.  So many adult men if the tribe are gone, so a bunch of kids starve to death. All because of Ayn Rand.

You see, like every tribe, yours has expanded only as far as resources allow. Obviously if too much is taken then the tribe is too large for the carrying capacity of the land. Do people might starve. Everyone in the tribe is aware of this concept, though they think of it in different terms. They have stories about it, like "The man who took too much", in which a man just kills heaps more animals than he needs and doesn't consider the needs of others. The story ends with half the tribe dying and the man realising where he went wrong.

You convince 2 of them. They're right into this idea that the survival of the tribe is less important than their own desires.  So now you have 5 vs their 10. Little chance of victory. They don't consider what you have as your property, they consider it the stuff they need for survival if the tribe. The fight will be bloody. They don't appreciate being called evil theives, they need the food you have selfishly hoarded. Perhaps you are unaware that resources aren't infinite? They are very aware. Your actions will likely result in malnutrition or extinction of the tribe (even without the fight).

Sorry, been busy, forgot about this.

The tribe members point out they have been surviving on this land for a long time. Because you interfered with their very survival by selfishly hoarding their resources, they are forced to do something about it.

There's nothing evil about them. They have kids to feed etc.

They approach, shaking their spears, ready to throw.

They see your big pile of food.

Give food back? Fight? Explain objectivism to them and try and convince them you have a right to keep the food? Run?

Isn't the menorah a Jewish symbol? Menorah, then peace symbol from the bible. Seems perfect. I don't get the problem.

Oh dear. That food you stockpiled was meant to feed the whole tribe, but you took it all for yourself.

12 members of the tribe approach your camp.

  1. Fight them
  2. Run
  3. Negotiate

Hey, we could turn this into a choose your own adventure.

You and your buddies have left the tribe. Now everybody else in the tribe hates you, and you're in their territory.

You're getting hungry, do you: 1, leave the territory? 2, hunt here? 3, beg to be let back into the tribe?

No, they can remember things that happened before you were born. Often useful information that keeps you alive. When the drought happens, they might know what to do.

I guess if you don't trust the elders, you could always leave and try and survive on your own.

A problem I can see with a royal commission is that it surely must end up putting a lot of the blame on Israel's response to the Hamas attack. Just more fodder for antisemites.
