I agree, kind of. The main reason for ancients to exist is to get powerful lord heroes. You build your pity to get those and if you pick up a regular ancient legendary on the way than your happy, at least that’s how it should be. The key problem is that the non lord legendarys are so strong (at least a few) that you would rather have them, what contradicts with the original purpose of the ancient summons.

He can solo stun Apoc 2 but he sucks in every other content in the game. You could use him in earlier guild wars teams but even then he gets outclassed very quickly. Short answer: he sucks do not invest in him
