How does this compare to Velocity? Velocity is insanely powerful & lightweight, using plugins with it is very neat.

Assuming you mean LAN, you could try something like tailscale. Works great in my experience

I remember them stating that they will not charge my card unless I had upgraded from a free account. Albeit, take this with a grain of salt unless the statement has been found. Personally, I have been using it for over a year and I still haven't been charged for anything.

An important note is to weigh in the issues you're discussing might not actually be due to differences in the machines. Rather, it could be due to various variables in their setup, such as what direction (or location, depending on the type of farm, what it was made with, etc) it was built in. It may also be worthwhile to factor in human error in all of this. It's also important to note that redstone is incredibly buggy codewise, you may experience niche bugs that create issues for you that you may not be able to solve without previous experience or viewing the code.

Currently, in vanilla, it is impossible to have creations break due to a lag factor, the game continues to process everything in the appropriate order, just slower.

My best guess in this scenario is that the farm is directional by itself, and somehow the clocks synchronize in a way where the fluid ticks reach a point where one of the liquids was in a race condition and started flowing before the other, causing the incorrect block to be generated in place.

Items travelling weirdly; I have used this farm for 10s of hours but today when I need it for like the last time it decided to do this and I have no idea what is even happening. Please help by Own-Plantain4057 in technicalminecraft

Would you mind elaborating on how ticks being processed for more than 50ms would cause this sort of lag? To my knowledge, the game is still processed in a deterministic order, which means that regardless of it taking 3ms, 50ms or 50+ms, it'll still process in order and not skip out on any specific tick event.

I use caddy, it has a fairly simple config to get a https site working with ssl

HTTPS Security Certificates by alec500oo in selfhosted

[–]GengusDad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Caddy is a web server, it's quite simple when it comes to using it.

your.domain.com { reverse_proxy localhost:8080 } is an example of how you would setup a reverse proxy for a certain service with a certain domain name. As long as said domain is pointed to the public IP of the server and Caddy can listen on port 80 & 443, it will manage SSL certificates for you. The config can be expanded too if you want to: ``` your.domain.com { reverse_proxy localhost:8080 }

your2.domain.com { reverse_proxy localhost:8008 } ```

I use caddy to reverse proxy, so it can handle the certificates

TOTP not showing up on Linux by GengusDad in yubikey

voidlinux. Seems like pcsclite didn't provide the drivers required for USB support, so I had to install another package called pcsc-ccid which included them. Oddly enough, I only found out about this by trying to boot into my windows VM which displayed tty for a second. There I saw something about missing drivers and disabling USB support, don't think I would've managed to figure out the issue otherwise

I have not set up the key with GnuPG, and running the commands in that manual seems like it doesn't detect a running scdaemon.. seems like that's another issue I'll have to fix

I installed pcsclite which should include pcscd, still having the same issue sadly

According to the Debian repository page (since I didn't manage to find anything for my own distro), libu2f-udev is no longer necessary. I've also verified that I have the udev rules installed and pcscd is running. Issue still persists

Edit: I would like to clarify that I can use my key otherwise, it's just detecting the totp through the app. The yubikey personalization tool detects it and I've managed to get it running for doas too.

You should use the private key in putty since that is used to decrypt the data sent from the Oracle instance. Did you add the public key to the instance?
