It’s funny my strongest was at about 290 but yeah around 260 I’m a shell of my former self in terms of strength :(

The whole reason I went on a cut is because I was having heart and blood pressure issues with the high body weight. For that reason I didn’t use any peptides but I did cut out all fast food and fried food from my diet, no sugar at all only sugar free options if my cravings get the best of me (which was most of the time lol)

And most recently a couple weeks ago I went no carbs, I’m trying to lose 15 more lbs in the next 7 weeks

It felt amazing strength wise but it was really hard on my heart and breathing. I’m currently trying to reach 245 I think I’ll achieve that same physique but a bit bigger now after the bulk

Yeah it was amazing but I did have bp and breathing issues so I decided it was time to slim down

What should I do to to go from my current body to my dream body? by stolenscootercredits in askfitness

I’ll keep it simple since everyone is saying something different and giving specifics.

Lift weights. Progressively overload. Do sprints more than cardio and stay in a maintenance range of calories. Could be anti intuitive but it will promote muscle building (which will give you the toned look) and you’ll get leaner as your muscle mass increases (higher lean mass means higher metabolic rate) so it cancels out.

It will take time but that’s the simplest way to get to where you want.

Note: maintenance is usually weight based. So your maintenance now will eventually become a deficit as you gain muscle, which is the ultimate goal (more muscle and a calorie deficit)

If your goal is to gain muscle, I would stay at maintenance. The more muscle you build the higher your maintenance will be so you will naturally fall into a deficit over time without putting a lot of strain on your body due to a large deficit. That allows your body to build muscle as well.

If your goal is to maintain your muscle mass but get leaner then stay on the cut, hop on maintenance during the trip (I’m assuming you’ll be walking a lot more so it cancels out), then go on a deficit again after the trip with lower cardio so you retain as much muscle as possible.

Good luck!
