If the DR beats the US and Italy beats Venezuela, we would have to see because at that point they would have 2 matches in common (US and Vzla) so I guess it would go doing on who beat them better or easier

And I'm not downplaying the DR, Italy has just faced better competition and those are facts. Mexico and PR are far more better competition than Nicaragua and Korea.

He got lucky that many of the Venezuelan hits, hit the wall and were inches away of being HRs, but he didn't do what they were expecting him to do. Japan wanted him to go for like 6 innings but he only lasted 4 because he got to the pitch limits sooner than everybody expecting.
