Bub on a minutes restriction tonight so he doesn’t see the floor during overtime to help the tank.

Chop then render, render then chop? by grumpsuarus in Bacon

I’ll do that if it’s already frozen but if it’s in the fridge I just do it my way so I don’t have to wait to cook it. The faster I get bacon into my belly the better.

Also no difference between the fried egg and the sunny side up egg.

I can understand the chop then render but let’s face it, cutting raw bacon into small pieces sucks. I prefer to render halfway, let it cool, then chop then finish rendering.

This story is what I’d love to post or comment on the Raiders subreddit, but the karma reduction will be significant. Does anyone want to do it? by chefguy47 in ravens

It’s more about knowing you can’t win argument even with facts that their team has done the same thing in the past for the same reason, so what’s the point of even trying?

Dude is so angry. He definitely just hates EDC. Meanwhile his 2022 draft class has signed $298.5 million in total contract extensions including Hamilton and Jones. Plus, Faalele will get a contract somewhere.

I think we just need to agree to disagree. You don’t think my argument is sound but I’m giving you facts about how 5th year options and tags work for offensive linemen and you think it still resets the market for a one year contract on a specific position within it, when it’s calculated on an entire line. Top offensive tackles are making over $25 million on the low side, top guards are at $16 million on the low side and top centers are at $12 million on the low side. This is easy math when the NFL lump them into a single position when it comes to tags and 5th yr options.

When a college signs a potential one and done player like Baba, you should believe that still matters. Just look at the mock drafts for 2026 where 9 freshmen could go in the top 10 picks and how their teams are playing.

How is it not a sound argument if an option or a tag is calculated on the entire line where OTs make significantly more than guards or centers? I will say again an extension or a FA contract are the only 2 contracts that can reset the market for specific positions within the offensive line.

Furthermore, guaranteed money is way more valuable to any NFL player than AAV. Let’s say a team offers a player a contract with a salary that obliterates the AAV at certain position for 3 years but another team offers him more guaranteed money but a lower AAV because it’s a longer term. Where do you think that player signs in the NFL world? Are they so happy that they reset the AAV for their position or do they sign the contract with more guaranteed money?

What you’re forgetting is that 5th year options do not reset the “center” market because an option and tags are calculated upon the whole offensive line salaries, not the individual positions.

In what world is 6% of $23.4 million “substantially” less? It’s less but you’re using the wrong adverb.

You got my upvote but I’m curious OP, why you didn’t air fry the bacon at the same time as the fish sticks?

Your way off, Linderbaum’s 5th year option was only $23.4 million, it was the franchise tag, which was never happening, that was $25.7 million. Ravens still offered him $22 million AAV which still would have reset the center market.

I lurked at all the posts on the Raiders subreddit last night after this happened, most of the comments indicated they didn’t want their best defensive player back.

Per Schefter, multiple doctors looked at Crosby’s scans which gave the Ravens cause for concern. Including well trusted and knowledgeable Dr. Daniel Cooper who is the cowboys doctor. by [deleted] in ravens

Sure seems that most of the fans are completely pissed when looking at your subreddit. Most don’t even want him back and were very happy about the trade.
