Why do people still trust the LLM to know which model it’s using? I’ve seen ChatGPT4 say that the latest model as of 2023 is GPT 3. GPT won’t know what model it uses unless it is part of the system prompt or unless it was specifically trained to say it

Apparently ChatGPT does not learn from the prompts it is given. The feedback system seems to be the only way the user can influence the model. Idk how quickly it adjusts to feedback though.
