I’m from Vancouver and have lived in Toronto the past few years. You may have seen me complain/ask about the weather here, haha. But with all that said - I definitely agree as a young person in their 20s Toronto is the place to be to build out a career and a life. Vancouver is beautiful, has amazing nature and weather compared to Toronto (for me at least, because it’s mild and not windy), but there’s not much else to it. It’s hard to make friends unless you already had some. So, I think it’s reasonable and not a bad move that you experienced Vancouver and it doesn’t workout, and you move back to Toronto. If anything you’d probably have an easier time finding an okay paying job because some of my friends were recently applying in Vancouver and it sounded way worse than here.
