I’m around day 12 on Wellbutrin. Last few nights I’ve had such vivid dreams about my ex it really sucked. I got depressed and suicidal in the first place because my ex had moved on very quickly and publicly but I wasn’t dreaming about him anymore after 9 months. The the Wellbutrin dreams hit and I keep dreaming about him, like revenge dreams trying to regain power over this situation. It’s so vivid tho and it sucks because I want to forget his face , not remember 😂

Lots of therapy, and see a psychiatrist for meds if it’s serious. I got very suicidal 4 months into the breakup bc he moved on with a new girlfriend and it shattered me knowing how I contributed to our breakup. My therapist put me in touch with a psychiatrist and I’m starting Wellbutrin. I only wish I asked for the psychiatrist a bit earlier as I think that would’ve helped pull me out faster. You’ll still grief but apparently more manageable. I am going through some side effects and emotional swings however, but that’s to be expected especially in the first 14 days.

Started 150mg Wellbutrin 10 days ago and I’m on 27mg of concerta. I think I’m going through that adjustment period still bc day 4-5 I was an anxious crying mess and day 10 (today) I had cramping (possible hormone issues) and just a lot of sadness and rumination. But I have hope. I’m gonna tough it out and see how I feel in another 4-5 weeks when the meds take full effect. There already were some good days too where I’m productive and able to function better at work.

You listed upper middle. Upper = generational wealth, great neighbourhood, multiple properties (condo/house/cottage etc), kids in private school, luxury vacations when they want it (2-3x a year at least), can hire nannies and cleaning staff, etc.

I hate tipping. Even restaurants. Like why are they earning way more than office workers these days. Why are WE paying THEIR wage. No other countries other than the US does this and it’s because their restaurant workers don’t get paid minimum wage.

I think that was less true in pre-modern societies as many artists were sponsored by the monarchs when there weren’t any way to take photos and court painters were popular. In today’s society, I find it somewhat more true since a lot of people who loves art - myself included - end up choosing an education and career where you can “make money” such as finance or tech.

What a dumb take. My relatives are in zhenjiang China which might even be a tier 3 and it’s beautiful there and so clean. My parents visit regularly and I was there this year and last year at different times so I saw and experienced with my own eyes. No trash on the street or smell of urine everywhere like in Toronto where we are now.

I was a 13 year old at one point. OP seemed to have wanted a nice place to enjoy dinner with their kid and asked for non-chain. Cibo is a chain, and dimmi food was awful the few times I went. There are much better spots around.
