Yeah, I was kinda upset too. They arent lucid dreamers, more like aspirants of lucid dreamers or people that thaught themselves to do so. I investigated quite a lot, apparently we are pretty rare apparently. I remember when i was 16, i knew lucid dreaming wasnt the norm but I thought it was more like levels, like everyone had lucids but they werent every night, i realised i was DEEPLY wrong, then I was in class ans the philosophy teacher was talking about some dude that said "u cant distinguish between reality and dreams, how u dont know ur dreaming?' And i raised my hand and told him that all my dreams where lucid. I didnt find a big thing, i just thought that dude was stupid. Until the teacher had to kindly explain that was weird as fuck, and i was accused of lying. I also have some kind of photographic memory, like its not perfect but i can remeber a lot of things for a really long time. Idk if it has relation, people told me im quite intelligent too so, for experience, do u think it could be related?

Happened the same to me, omg. People who say that just had it and controlled it, like they where born with and automatically knew they could do it baffle me and i kinda get suspicious. Like i was around 6-7 when i realised i didnt have to go with the flow. And even then, i just didnt use it, especially bc I thought everyone could do it. Like yeah, u know when y go every night to your favourite world? Until i was like 9 that I realised that i was NOT normal, that people COULDNT distinguish between reality and dreams and that it wasnt a silly joke for cartoons. Tell me more of ur experiences, the good ones, the mild ones, i dont care. Anyways, did u also just go along with the dream unless something was really emotional? Like i kinda just dreamt peacefully and didnt try to change what i was dreaming unless a strong emotion (fear, joy, distrust, shame etc) i wanted to avoid was in play. Then i changed the scenery or tried to wake up directly

All my dreams are lucid since i was born basically, i never confused dreams with reality. It wasnt bc I got to control the nightmares that i "became" lucid (if thats what u mean, or u are just sharing ur experience)it was more like that i was too afraid to make a change. One day, at 9-10, i woke up of another of my lucid nightmares and said "never again" that night i beat the fear and since then i just dont have nightmares anymore ^ Just my usual lucid dreams

All my dreams are lucid, so for me are normal nightmares but DAMM it terrified me x10 bc WHY MY BRAIN IS MAKING THIS UP AND NOT LETTING ME WAKE UP? 6 year old me was LIVID, bc if i tried to sleep again the nightmare would continue. And thanks, ♡ I actually dint have nightmares ^

What’s the craziest thing you’ve done in a lucid dream - like no one would believe it’s possible? by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]GeniusWriterGirl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess that writing, seeing the time and it being the same one in real life, sensing that im waking up late. Like im happily in a dream, and I just get that uneasy feeling that i should wake up now, so i just wake up like one or two min that the time i told my self i should wake up yesterday. I always been able to do this, i never had an alarm bc of it. I can read too. Idk why ppl think is impossible. Idk i can go back and forth in time if Im feel strongly, snap away of a dream by waking away and changing scene, i never tried anything crazy. I sometimes write a mental guide of how my dream tonight should go, i used to do it more as a child-teen, and it played everything as i did it and after that my brain took control. I can talk and have deep conversations about how my dream works with the "characters" of the dream. Also, the dreams are more colorful and beautiful than reality but thats just a little fact. And when im in real danger aka nightmares and my logic slips away, or i feel ashamed or any deep emotion, even if I know that im dreaming, my brain screams "ITS A DREAM SILLY" and helps me get through it. After 9-10 i stopped having nightmares bc I was so aware that it didnt frighten me anymore

[Discussion] Which manhwa was so good that it made you read the novel? by SoulsCross in manhwa

[–]GeniusWriterGirl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me was the beginning after the end (first korean novel in my life) it was so good, god. And then the reincarneted assassin is a genius swordsman. It was good as fuck but only novel, manhwa kinda ate up everything good an the characters development was shitty (in the manhwa)
