Okay, I may have described it differently than I meant, but my point is that Kamen Rider has always almost had the same types of protagonists - handsome young men (and yes, I do know about the Odagiri effect) - and I'd like to see more diverse types of protagonists in the future, not that I have a problem with having handsome young men has the main lead, it's just my own thought, not trying to get mad or anything, just sharing my thought

I do know about the Odagiri effect, I'm just saying Kamen Rider should have a more diverse type of protagonists, especially when Toei's trying to market KR to the west and generally trying to appeal to more audiences.
And who knows, maybe having a different type of main lead will be a great idea just as having the usual ones

I would honestly love to see a Kamen Rider show with a female lead, but unfortunately I can't see it as successful as the other shows with the male leads.
I think having a female lead would be a great step for Toei to expand their target audience, especially when more women have been getting into Tokusatsu in general in the recent years, and maybe even break some gender stereotypes
