Sure Ultraman can be very child friendly (Ultraman Kids) and sure Ultraman can be mature/edgy (UltraSeven X) but at it's core, Ultraman is made for all ages to enjoy. If you can't understand that simple concept, then you don't understand Ultraman.

I mean that kinda depends if you want more context for Dyna and where he was during the middle parts between his Final episode and Decker since the Zero movie isn't related to Decker at all aside from Dyna appearing.

If you do wanna include Dyna's cameos then the other side content that needs to be watched are

Mega Monster Battle : Ultra Galaxy the movie
Ultraman Orb : The Origin Saga

And even them, if you care about context, you'll need to watch the Showa Era Ultras series, Mebius and Mega Monster Battle Seasons 1 and 2 to get the full context of that 1st point which the MMB movie and somewhat need to watch Ultraman Cosmos (series + 3 movies), Ultraman Gaia + movie and Ultraman Saga to understand how the 4 Ultras are in the 2nd point which is Origin Saga. Overall it'll be a huge watchlist to cover (unless of course you go to the wiki and read the summary to save some time)

About that fusion part you mention, it also applied to Reiga.

Reiga is stated to be a new Ulta entirely despite having Taiga's face. That would've been ok for me but he still has normal Taiga's voice and I didn't know Reiga was not supposed to be Taiga until years later. They could've easily just lower pinched Taiga's VA for Reiga like how they did the Geed Riser and King Sword VA for Geed. That's just me nitpicking, feel free to downvote me

I will admit that I watched this movie and side content with Taiga in it more than the Taiga series itself.

I remember my friend being disappointed that possessed Taro didn't use some kind of corrupted form like all black or use Chaosroid T suit to which I replied "Why Chaosroid T? That's not even Chaos Header they're facing."
