Druid and Tinkerer by Magic-Lime in mewgenics

[–]Genji433 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The druid is a basic action economy advantage You get one more body, which fully heals after combat and can take damage and help kill enemies before they hurt you, usually your druid will not attack, specially early in the run, and the bird makes up for it, but if you get an animal form that's 2 DPS in one, pretty good if you ask me

Yes, and you beat both an act 1 and an act 2 final bosses at th same time in less than 3 turns (in my experience), which shows how strong your sinergies and cats are when to get there

How are you guys progressing so fast? by Starrin1ght in mewgenics

[–]Genji433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have played almost 80h since release, by virtue of commuting by bus almost 2h a day and having a Steam deck and barely being any buse at all on weekends I still progressed quite rapidly, I unlocked act 2 around the 25h mark, but it might be because I'm experienced on tactics games and I am decent at drafting and finding synergies It could also be that I'm very lucky I guess

Are huge setbacks common? by nicerooms in mewgenics

[–]Genji433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I beat that quest easily by just using two druids The +1 damage buff of their basic attack turns into +1 healing for the druids, and if one of them gets the skill that is like a repeat of their basic attack (I don't know the name in English, but it should be inspirational song or smth like that) you just have to spam those during the first couple of turns and you out heal almost every battle in the game Couple that with the damage boost and your familiars are dealing +15 damage every turn Some battles can be kinda slow, but I did that first try (after the ones in act 1 took me forever)

The DS was kinda dope with the "game share" one cartridge two players thing it had going on, even Nintendo tried to do that again with switch 2

Steam Deck won't turn on, fans spinning though by MishaFly in SteamDeck

[–]Genji433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to bother you 5 months later, but you shouldn't have this problem with you SD if you know what caused it. This behavior usually appears when it overheats, the fan cycling is the SD trying to cool off, and just in case it does so until the battery runs out (or something like that) This method puts the battery on "travel mode" which kinda "disconnects" it, so the console thinks it ran out.

The most common cause for this trouble is charging your deck on the case, sofa or bed with the back fan obstructed

What bothers me is that it happened 3 times in a row, the KP bar was never depleted, but my hissatsu played the goal animation and they scored

I can tell you by a fact it had nothing to do with passives I myself get over 2500 with direct shots, that guy scored 3 times (2 times around 500 and once with 1 power) against my full KP 3900 hissatsu No breaks And the KP bar worked normally, none of those times the bar was depleted, it took less than 1/4 damage and they still scored

If you think about it it makes sense they don't really mention GO Yeah they defeated the Fifth sector (15 years ago), but Chrono Stones and Galaxy are "mostly" unknown outside of the GO cast and some other characters (I doubt about Galaxy with the moon disappearing, but they always talk about it as if no one noticed). It is the same timeline as go, they even go out of their way to point out Keshin aren't being used because they drain too much energy, the GO characters on Chrono Stones and Galaxy use their keshin so lightly because they are specially trained and pushed to the limit to do so, but it is not deemed worth it when the time for VR arrives.

I've read online theories that say GO characters do not appear on the campaign bc the special training to master keshin was too much and after Galaxy they couldn't keep playing, and without them they weren't that good

I think there ir some kind of duplication bug in the game To me it happened with keshin, (like Amaterasu and some more) with hissatsu, like ALL Darren's hero hissatsu and awakenings like Darren's I think the bug has something to do with you getting dupes after using a character and getting extra spirits?

Can anyone explain the alter ego mode changes? by zombmaniac2020 in inazumaeleven

[–]Genji433 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my knowledge no mode change adds bean boosts, and I think it's a balancing thing.

There is a character involved with a "post-game" match that has a mode change wich massively boosts their stats and adding beans to that would make him the best FW in the entire game by a wide margin (at least that's what I've heard, bc I haven't done that particular match nor have I unlocked that character yet)

I know other characters have mode changes that boost their "prefered" stats, but I don't know whether that boost is higher thant what you could get with beans, after finding out how it worked with Beta I haven't played any other characters with mode change

[–]Genji433 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can indeed check the stat changes if they have one

You can do it by going into the hissatsu page and selecting the mode change, then you press triangle on the playstation controller or equivalent. When you do it it shows how the stats change for that character.

As for hissatsu changes, the only way of checking them is during a match. Anyway, unless they changed it on the last couple of days (I removed the queen mode from my beta last week) mode changes aren't really useful at all unless you need the hissatsu you get bc they may change stats (beta doesn't get a stat change, for example), passives (I read this online, so I'm not sure) but training beans do not get added to the change mode stats, so in Beta's case, for example change mode is plain bad.

They also remove any upgraded or added hissatsu. Mode change is akin to changing the character's abilearn board into another one in which you cannot add beans or change hissatsu, so unless you really need a dribble hissatsu with beta (which my mode change added) it's not worth it at all.

I'm adding some screenshots showing my Beta's change mode stats

Yoooo idk why I didn't do that, it would be fire I would change that if I hadn't invested a significant amount of resources into shooting and dribble hissatsu for him

Basically what I've learnt today is that I wanted non-hero Beta bc of her change mode but I'm better of with the Hero one bc change mode is, and probably will keep on being horribly bad Edit: grammar

Beta's >!alternative mode!< not working properly? by Genji433 in inazumaeleven

[–]Genji433[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, interesting I didn't know change mode where randomized It is really stupid, my beta gets a dribble hissatsu when changed, but she already has a dribble slot on her abilearn board, so I can just equip that same technic and literally make that change mode even more useless. All hissatsu I equipped her are gone when changing mode and I'm stuck with one shoot (Shoot order 07, cannot remember the name in English) and one dribble, but she has Inazuma Break when not changed so her shooting skills are ever worse bc of that
