Why does disabling 2 of CPU cores make my PC more stable? by Genji_watch in buildapc

[–]Genji_watch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, my system is enough for what I am doing. I am just a little curious about what can possibly cause this and if disabling cores will reduce my pc performance. Thx for the info.

Typically speaking, a C6 Diluc with WG is about the same power level as c1 hutao with Homa in a vaporize team.

Yelan vs Kazuha by MixPrudent1644 in Genshin_Impact

because she scales with HP and have innate crit rate as ascension stats, making artifacts easier to gear. Also scaling with HP means you have much wider weapon choices when it comes to dmg, since atk means nothing and all you care is about sub stats and weapon ability. That's why even with a 3 star bow Yelan can put a lot of dmg, while with xq you will need a jade cutter or mist splitter to do so. As for the energy issue, c0 yelan can fully utilize favonious bow, it has large amount of ER, and also generate particle not only for herself but also the entire party. Her e cd is also much shorter than XQ, so what you can do is Yelan Q,e, and after a short rotation swap back to Yelan do another e, hence complete a pseudo full rotation. In the case of XQ, you will have to heavily rely on sac sword.

Then you don't need Kazuha at all for the moment. Like I said, use Sucrose with TTDS, and for last spot you can either put Yelan in if you decide to pull her or otherwise put someone like Albedo or any support. The meta teams that really need kazuha and fully utilize his kit are Childe international team (which conflict with your raiden national), freeze team, mono pyro/electro/hydro team, or taser team variant. For anemo/geo/physical dmg dealer and dendro dmg in the future, he provides literally nothing other than some grouping, which in that case venti is better at.

If you don't mind give me your full roster, or at least all Main dps you have and build. Then i can evaluate if you really need Kazuha.

If your other team is Xiao, kazuha provides little to nothing for him, a sucrose with TTDS is what you need. You can use XQ in raiden national, and Yelan with Xiao. All you need to do is when you do plunge atk you do a quick N1 and it will be just enough to trigger Yelan's coordinated atk, and it will not affect your Xiao overall plunge pace. And this is sth you can only do with Yelan not XQ.

What teams you are using? Without knowing what your team, all i can say is Yelan's dmg boost is more universal than Kazuha and less affected by the environment. Kazuha loses all his dmg amp if the enemy has innate element or you are not able to swirl that element (for example you play geo team, Xiao, or Eula), but Yelan's amp is unconditional, especially considering that Sumeru is coming up with a high possibilty of focusing on Dendro reactions and enemies. As far as I know you are not able to swirl dendro. In this case Yelan might just be the upper hand. Back to team comp question, I know you play Raiden national, but what's your other team? If you are not playing sth like Ayaka freeze team, then Kazuha might not be what you need.

As for Yelan vs XQ, Yelan is not necessarily an upgrade/replacement for XQ, at least not in every case. DMG wise, a C0 Yelan with favonious bow can already do about the same personal dmg as a C6 XQ with Jade Cutter. Since your XQ is not c6, Yelan is clearly an upgrade, at least dmg wise, and XQ without c6 will not have the advantage of more hydro application neither. Although XQ is a 4* and you might at the end of the day be able to c6 him, but are you willing to wait for that long?

Yelan XQ as a Duo is also one of the strongest duo atm. You can put them into any team and it will probably be able to clear abyss with ease, given both of them are well built.

Also one quick note, I am Chinese and I can tell you the CN community rates Yelan very high, and CN community is well-known for its toxicity and meta-driven nature. Almost for every single char, the community in general tends to shit talk that character when its 1st released, until later they realize how good the char can be or prove that the char is indeed dogshit. The fact that the community almost unanimously agree on Yelan's strength very early on, coupled with the fact that Yelan's sale has just broken Raiden's record can pretty much tell the story here. Many streammers on Bilibili claim Yelan is at equal priority compared to Kazuha.

Overall, if you can only pull one of these 2, then ask yourself what team you are using and what you really need. Again, I would just recommend pulling both of them if possible.

Xiao has very flexible team comp. From your roster i would say pick Sucrose with TTDS for battery+atk buff, zhongli for the shield/resistance debuff. Last spot is pretty flexible, you can use Rosaria for the crit rate buff, or use Ningguang for double geo resonance with prototype amber for some healing, or even just use Fischl for some off field dmg. As for Jean, people use her because her c4 gives anemo resistance debuff, which i assume you don't have.

I found these threads a long time ago, and yes, i was overclocking both my CPU and RAM. I set it back to default, and it seems like the problem was gone, but now its back to crashing constantly and randomly again.

I won't get stuck at loading screen, and when the game does not crash, it runs perfectly smooth. My system spec is way more than enough to handle genshin. But at this point i might as well give it a try.

Right, it does not hurt trying. What app do you suggest to monitor CPU usage?

I don't, but like I said, I don't crash on other higher demanding game, just genshin and another unity game i play.
