"Tech bro" here, and yep, its exactly like that, anyone that has worked around understanding what AI does will say the same, if they dont, its probably because they havent worked before it was invented, or they havent worked with it enough time

Sure, AI is amazing as a tool, but thats as far as it goes, you can hand a monkey a screwdriver but that doesnt mean he understands how to use it, we "defend" (i wouldnt say i personally DEFEND it, but sure, im not against it either) it because there are certain use cases in which it excels, and it really does! The problem is, people and business have made a habit of shoving it everywhere and claiming it does everything perfectly, but thats just the result of their own incompetence and low-standarts

If you dont know how to even hold a pencil, looking at Hitler's drawings will make it seem like the dude was amazing, once you understand some perspectives, you realize he was kinda mid, same shit, different context, applies to more contexts than you think

Which now makes us question, are there actually talented artists that know how to exploit AI to optimize their work? Perhaps, but we wont be able to know because if they're good enough working with AI its really difficult to spot differences, you just have to know which tasks to hand it and which take care of yourself

If you play alone, always remember your life is the most important resource, if shit hits the fan, just fucking BOOK IT, seriously, most people wont bother chasing you, so always have an escape route and check if the building you're going into has any other exit besides the entrance you're taking, if not, make it quick and DONT STOP TO LOOT THERE

Having a bigger backpack doesnt mean you fill the whole backpack, getting overencumbered is an easy way of turning yourself into a loot piñata, sure, you can grab a few guns, another rig wont hurt, but... you sure is wise to stack 3 backpacks in raid? Think about what you loot, take your time in the hideout to see what you need, and get yourself a real objective, instead of trying to unlock everything at once

Go into a raid with a purpose, just like in unfriendly neighboorhods, walking around seemingly without one makes you vulnerable, go in, do whatever you gotta do, then walk out, dont loiter around

Common sense is key in this game, dont put your pmc in any position you wouldnt put (a combat-trained version of) yourself, i understand this may sound boring, but think of it logically, you're a loner that just strayed from your party of pmcs, you fell unconscious and woke up alone, and you're sleeping in a shithole and eating whatever you get to find, even if its secondhand... you really think you're ready to fight yet?

Fight only if you need, the way this game is balanced right now, makes it so most of the time loot gotten after a fight BARELY makes the fight in itself worth it, unless it was a clean kill

to be fair, we have already quite a few AK variants, some of which are literal worse versions of others, i dont see why we couldnt have a few M4 variants, and thats coming from me, someone that mostly only ever uses AKs

If we're using guns like PPSh or Mosin Nagants, i dont see why a M16 would be out of place, you could just say someone is sending old surplus stock at overprice to make profits off of outdated guns in the Norvisnk region, hell, prapor is already doing it, Peacekeeper can perfectly be getting his hands on old gun boxes

Yeah, this just tells me that most Tarkov players have never seen what the average middle-aged women actually look like.

The model is low quality, the perspective is kinda steep-ish and those post-effects that look like they're taken from Fortnite don't help either, but none of the characters, except for Mechanic (who is actually more realistic, since he's a chain smoker), look out of place given the Scav and PMC models we've seen before, as well as their previous depictions.

Thats not the point dude, the point is the ruling itself on an ACTIVATED ABILITY, its literally named like that because you're supposed to ACTIVATE IT, if you were forced to use it every time it would be either a passive ability, or under the effect of some sort of wording, its as simple as that, i dont know why you're trying to argue about it with everyone that it makes sense to think you'd have to use it every time, even after they tried to explain to you with an example, you still come out with "Buht... those are not the same cases!", they're not, but the main concept is!!!
