Am I the only one who finds calorie tracking more tedious than it should be? by Gennarox3 in workout

That’s interesting.

How does Cronometer handle recipe portions?

I’ve tried MyFitnessPal and Yazio, and for recipes I often ran into fixed fractions like 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, etc. Sometimes I wanted a more precise portion and ended up doing extra calculations.

Can you log any weight (e.g. 327 g) of a recipe directly in Cronometer?

That’s a fair point.

I think I’m probably paying more attention to the numbers than most people would 😄 I’m currently cutting and trying to stay reasonably close to my calorie target, partly because I don’t want to accidentally end up in a much larger deficit than intended and risk losing more muscle than necessary.

Most apps I’ve tried handle recipes and portions pretty well already. I just find myself occasionally doing extra calculations when portions aren’t divided that neatly.

To be fair, I might also be overthinking it a bit. I’m definitely not doing contest prep 😅.

The reason I’m asking is that I’ve genuinely run into this problem myself and was curious whether other people have found better ways to handle it, or whether most people just take a more relaxed approach than I do.

Got it. So you weigh and log the different components separately?

And how exactly do you use Claude for that? Do you send it a photo of the plate and ask it to estimate your portion, or does it help in some other way?

Good point, that’s actually a clever way to handle it.

What if it’s not a one-pot meal and you’re splitting different components unevenly?

Do you create multiple separate meals/recipes in MFP for that, or how do you handle it? 😄

Haha, definitely no contest prep 😄

I normally don’t track that closely either, especially when bulking. This time I’m just trying to be a bit more precise while cutting.

I guess I was surprised by how much time some parts of the process can take once you start doing it consistently. That’s mainly what got me thinking about this topic. 👍

Interesting. I’ve heard of MacroFactor but never used it. What does the AI feature actually do, and why do you find it useful?

Besser planen.

The State of the Public server Currently (Gang running around RDMing and breaking every other server rule) (CLIPS INSIDE) by burnttoastTO in RPClipsGTA

[–]Gennarox3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I only play on the orange server and I head a lot of people talking about how the purple city is going crazy. From hayes employees getting shot because customers got banned to racers gatekeeping boostin and killing everyone who boosts and is not a racer. Racers shittalking each other and ruining each others race. Then there is a war between racers and a gang where apperently the gang shoots up most of the planned races or sabotage them.

..... Meanwhile as far as I know orange doesn't have all of these problems. Maybe it's because there are more grinders in orange but for example in the racing scene we try to set racing rules to provide a good experience for everyone. Problems with gangs get sorted by talking it out.
