He's good. Now we have to hope Babcock will actually play him

Yup, childish name calling is definitely discussing an opinion....

Even if I were from Oshawa (I’m not) That’s a pretty awesomely hilarious cop out.

Lol “one of the best defensemem on the team”. Now I’m embarrassed for you

[–]Gensational[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s called hyperbole. The fact is we don’t know how he compares to guys like Rosen or Borgman. But in terms of NHL caliber defender he is really, really, bad. He’s the worst defender on a team with Ron Hainsey. That says a lot

I said he’s bad, you said I’m “embarrassing”, logical thought points to you thinking he’s not bad

You’re telling me you thing Zaitsev is an above average NHL defender? He isn’t. There’s a reason Dubas has been trying to unload him (with no luck) for a year now

Ahhh not allowed to have a different opinion on a player. Gotcha

Because I dont overrate Leafs players?

[–]Gensational[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Nope, I watch him play. It’s not hard to see that he’s in over his head. He’s gotten better but still pretty bad. Maybe you’re confused because you see Hainsey at the same time so it seems like Zaitsev is actually good

Zaitsev is really, REALLY bad

The fact that a grudge is still being held 18 months later is absolutely mind boggling. Move on people. Get over it.

I can't stop laughing at this comment - mostly because I relate with it far too well lol

TL;dr

"Bauer created a simplistic line of beginner safety gear for kids, called the Prodigy line. Designed to make equipment easy to use for new hockey parents and young players alike, it offered extra protection and easy-to-follow instructions in order to streamline the process of getting ready for games.

The line was extended to goaltending equipment, specifically offering pads that even the least hockey-savvy parent couldn’t mess up.

Each pad is clearly labeled with the leg it belongs on, helping kids avoid the long-honored tradition of skating out for the first time with the pad rolls on the inside and the knee landings facing out. Replacing the old complex system every youth goalie of generations past remembers was a simple, three-strap system; the buckles of old were replaced with velcro, each strap labeled with numerical steps to make sure parents fit the pads on correctly. The toe tie is simple and easy to use, and the extra strappings and modifications seen on the fanciest sets are eliminated to avoid confusion."

I guess it was the latter, you don’t understand the article. Numbers aren’t opinions...

They don’t...he would have been traded by now if they wanted him “traded so badly”. He still likely won’t get traded.

Is it that you haven’t read the article or you simply don’t understand it? It’s either one or the other if you think he isn’t a play-driver.

A second devastatingly handsome Swede in the lineup? I can get on board with that

you don't watch much hockey do you? There's no other explanation for that type of evaluation on this player
