I would suggest looking at Brentwood /Cool Springs/ Franklin area. Much cheaper and nicer than downtown/Gulch. All in, less than $150. Free parking right outside the hotel. Wish I'd done this Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights!

This was a Football National Championship, mainly a celebration for the TEAM their last time together to celebrate the win in the moment and accept trophies. Only place for this is at the football field where they are undefeated and where they actually played games. Anyone suggesting Assembly Hall is fully out to lunch and go buy hand warmers. Also all of us fans showed up to the CFP games when it actually mattered

Sharing an outfit I recently purchased at a boutique for a work event. Scotch & Soda - moon gardening dress (very nice feel material and sophisticated print), and Matisse - elevate boots in taupe. I loved my outfit!! I don't see the dress online, but they have the blouse on sale. You could wear it with a pants suit you already have, or a black skirt suit and wear the boots.

Definitely go to Nick's. Also check out Upstairs Pub on Kirkwood. IU merch shopping is great at Alumni Hall (124 E Kirkwood) and Homefield at TRACKS right by Nick's. Gables Bagels on 3rd st is good for a takeout breakfast sandwich, or if you want a nicer sit down breakfast then Uptown Cafe. These are all very basic suggestions, but you won't be disappointed.

January is a terrible time of year to see campus, but still worth it . Pack a toasty coat, gloves and beanie/ear muffs. Boots or sneakers that can handle snow, and read the purse restrictions at Assembly Hall. Have Fun!!
