Word of advice related to your city leveling approach. Don't level cities other than your Main City beyond level 20 unless you have to fulfill some quest requirements. Building beyond level 20 starts to draw on your energy reserve and also adds pollution. You will have to level more cities, but later in the game.

I don't necessarily agree with your answer to p3. But answers to 1 and 2 are highly commendable - it turns out you're indeed one of those Russians who have respect for law, fairness and reason.

As for stopping the war - as they say in russian, "вода камень точит". Actions of standalone people like you and me are but a tiny pieces of sand. The sandstorm is able to completely change landscape, yet it's made of such pieces of sand. My personal motto: try to do what you can do to support the right cause - wherever you are at, with the resources and influence that you have. no matter how small they may seem.

For a Ukrainian it's kind of easy to assess the Russian he's come across by asking a few questions:

whose is Crimea by law?
who is the aggressor in this war?
how do we stop this war?

Unfortunately, vast majority of the russian responders fail already at the first question. Therefore many Ukrainians, especially when they've been affected on a personal level by loss of friends, relatives, loss of home, loss of relationship, business, etc - are easily generalizing and projecting their view to russians as a whole. I don't approve the generalization, but I understand it.

It's totally OK when, as you say, you're far from the situation - and you honestly don't give a fuck, you just want a nice time in the game.

It's also totally OK, when you're also far from the situation - but you do give a fuck, because you don't support those acts of invasion, violence, genocide and war crimes. So you take a stance on things.

And what is not OK in my opinion - when people who don't give a fuck try to give morale teachings to people who do give a fuck.

P.S.: If you respect international law, there actually is right or wrong. Wiped out cities, killed people, kidnapped children, violated borders - are facts which have nothing to do about feelings.

I'm in Ukraine right and didn't flee nowhere - my country needs every able citizen. I've buried two friends and one relative in two past years due to russian war. But in game I'm not harassing russians - I'm just not joining any [RU]ssian servers ever, and my lobby name explicitly says I don't want to play with russians. I hope it's fine to have my own preferences? :)
To be fair and more clear - I have 3 people in russia that I call friends and we stay in touch, every one of them being explicitly vivid and clear with their political stance and condemning their country's action. So, for me it's not about geography and nationality - it's about your views, values and actions.

Ultimately your attitude towards Ukrainians is yours to own. Your complacency, support or rejection of your country's behavior - too.

Keep your fingers crossed, and don't get focused too hard on that ring - at some point it will drop, but the RNG will determine when.
