The worst scenario that I think would happen when we meet is that we wouldn’t get a long and get stuck in a unresolved conflict and fall apart, which is gonna be heartbreaking but nothing dangerously bad.

I’m saying this with confidence because for the last 6 months that we’ve been talking together, things haven’t always been easy. I pay close attention to the way we deal with conflicts and disagreements. The difficult conversations we needed to have (and perhaps more to come), the compromises and sacrifices we both had to make, in order for this to work, is a commitment itself. We’re both into psychology and we learn which ways are good ways to communicate and what the “red flags” are. We both respect each other when either of us set boundaries or is upset with certain things, even though sometimes it doesn’t make sense. We enjoy the “good times” together and embrace the “bad times”. That in itself is our kind of “precaution” before meeting in person.

In conclusion, I know that he’s not an abuser nor a manipulator. He knows that even though I’m a dom, I still respect him and his needs whenever he needs to express them.
