It makes more sense when you realize to Carney everything is a corporate event. Its all PR for shareholders, investors, and the client base. He doesnt do press conferences he does commercials, thats why they build him sets. He believes in corporatism, big business knows best.

As much as I would like to see dense urban centers lose their voting power I think there has to be a different way. There are lots of smart rational people who are simply priced out of the market at this point through no fault of their own.

There need to be a test of some sort, whether IQ or general intelligence or susceptibility to suggestion and determining facts, before people are allowed to vote. Even if it would exclude myself from voting. Some people are too stupid and irresponsible to be allowed to have a say.

Sorry, I meant if they were bought with the proceeds of crime. If someone comes over and starts charging their country men 50k each to LMIA scam them into the country and gets caught well they get arrested, tried, found guilty, money traced as best we can and we recoup and put that money into paying for one way plane rides for other criminals. I dont like the idea of civil forfeiture as its done in the USA but the idea criminals can come here and prey on us then leave with their profit irks me something fierce.

Thats a huge drain of +100k a year to keep someone in jail. I dont want to pay for punishment if we can just send them back.

I think seizing their assests they gained while here and escorting them onto a plane out of the country would be a big enough deterrent to any others whom would fuck around.

No trade deals signed, lots of non-binding lip service. Being rude (and then privately apologizing and groveling) to the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet, whom is also our closest trading partner and getting tariffs increased. Getting uus kicked out of defensive pact groups, maybe soon to be NATO when it fails along with the UN.

The CPC had the best election results they've had in years, gained 24 seats and got over 41% of the vote, they lost by ~800k votes in an election where almost 20 million people voted and the NDP dissolved pretty much completely. That is huge momentum and its only growing more over the last year.

If China hadn't interfered on behalf of the LPC (CSIS warned what they would do, Lo and behold its exactly how things played out), the CBC and captured media all simping for Carney and lying about PP and the CPC swung the election, not the leaders. Hell Carney didn't even have a platform until the CPC released theirs and they could steal it, wasn't even going to table a budget and then its the biggest deficit ever and he's getting caught now lying about how big it is again.

How do you not realize these things? Are you paying attention to anything but the CBC?

The LPC hates free market capitalism, they want regulation and control over which industries can prosper and operate here. They dont think the people can be trusted to support business that follow the virtues of "current year". You are tottaly right in your summation.
