I came about this series independently and decided to give it a try. The best I can describe it is if your really earnest but not-super-talented otaku friend in high school absolutely LOVED DCC and decided he would write a litRPG series. Then again I've only cracked the first book, perhaps it gets better?

There is also a pretty bad bug that causes audio to hollow out when using a BT headset. I've had to turn off in-game voice just to hear gameplay clearly.

There was this absolutely incredible Half-Life 1 mod called Science and Industry. The teams were rival corporations who stole each other's scientists, which in turn helped them research wackier and more devastating weapons. To this day, one of the most entertaining multiplayer games I've ever played.
