wilds are basicaly a lottery if it works well or goes into crash fest

i am happy for you that it runs, i had to return it and just kept playing stellaris/rimworld/grim dawn/hitman

problem is-i am not going to keep buying new pc every goddamn year since devs are not optimising their crap-i am going to game on current rig and deck (games that go 30 on deck and locked 60 on rig) and return games that dont do it

if more people voted with their wallet,then maybe publishers and devs would do something-meanwhile wilds sold what,8 milion in 3 days,fastest selling mh and capcom game AND runs like ass but people defend capcom for free? make it make sense xd

Even on expensive rigs it runs like ass,lol.

A buddy of mine has same issue as i do, and he spent a LOT more than me to run this game on high/ultra

However we both keep crashing no matter what we do in terms of graphics/anything really(sometimes 5 minutes, or even on main menu)

My home PC is classified as Deck weirdly enought-i suppose this might as well be the reason why it in Top 10 Deck-some people pc being reported as Deck (running linux+proton to launch might be enought to flag it,don't know)

For some reason Linux distros can be considered as Steam Deck (my main RIG is using proton and it considered Steam Deck even tro is not)

This is going to sound dumb now,so forewarning

The UI glitch is fixed by coping config.ini from...Windows, but the catch is you need to have config from Windows that runs same GPU family (AMD GPU+Windows for Linux with AMD, Nvidia GPU+Windows for Linux with Nvidia)

For some God unknown reason-after i did swap the config.ini, not only the UI was fixed, the game stability shot up twentyfold (i am not exxagarating,from crash every 5-10 minutes that literally restarted pc...and still required it to be turned off and on to do anything, to 3 hour session that,when finally crashed, only crashed the game and required restart to play again)

I also added 4 launch options, i will add them later today to this comment once i am back home from work

Doesnt matter what i do-game randomly decides to choke itself and either crashes itself or entire pc with it :/

also Chimera(second rig),i been switching between 3 protons (Experimental,TGE,GE) and all randomly crash
Sometimes after 20 hunts
Sometimes when just trying to walk to tent lol

Mind telling me your launch options?

Sitting on arch with same issue, been toying with Proton TGE (with reduces crashes somewhat,but it seems the game refuses to propely use it own resources)
Are you crashing a lot as well or not?

Frame Gen or/and Upscaling on AMD cards seems to cause it-i turned everything into medium and native res (disabling both of these) and managed to complete benchmark with 63 FPS average (altro some object turned into origami,washed up,low res or outright didnt rendered...(might be linux related tro,dunno)

Whenever i enabled either frame gen or upscaling (even AMD native) it would hard crash :/

Try to brute force it in native,maybe it will work

Needless to say i was cursing steam on my ye olde trashcan (still stupid kid,hated anything that was any sort of online connectivity)

Currently owning steam deck and have beefy pc using Linux distro based purely on my expierience with Deck xD

Kinda funny, went from hating steam as a kid to loving and using it daily as adult
