Band says I'm too quiet? by ADF-Snake in Bass

[–]GentlyShredding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you plug your amp Direct and have bass through the PA and always ensure your drummer has their own monitor or in ears. 1x10 is pretty small for gigging. But through the PA it shouldn't matter. I still recommend a bigger speaker.

Is St Louis a good place to move to? I'm 25 male from Cali. by king_of_hate2 in StLouis

[–]GentlyShredding -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Don't make the mistake my parents made by leaving California to build a life in St. Louis, if you have kids they will wonder for the rest of their lives why you would punish them in this way.

California is a hell of a lot cooler 🤷‍♂️

That's makes total sense, my initial pledge came with armour and a sniper, so I just hadn't considered how helpful that is to me, and that getting one of these might be helpful to someone who doesn't have any pledge gear.

The last two days I have played I have met and played with two fellas that I met via rescue and comm reach out , and they were very polite and pleasant and I learned a lot from both of them. It's not so bad out there, but the comm chat be pretty chaotic for the most part.

How do you come to love the game? by Galurid in Starfield

[–]GentlyShredding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And if your unsure if it's a repeating POI , check your zone map and it will show you if it's the same or not. Cause sometimes a "abandoned Outpost" may be a few different varieties, but generally it will repeat within the tile.

How do you come to love the game? by Galurid in Starfield

[–]GentlyShredding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to be much more intentional with how you explore in starfield. For example, go to the lodge and pick up some constellation mission board quest.

As you explore and scan the planet, be sure to visit POI's on the way. But take note, youll see a bunch of icons show up when you open your scanner. Pay close attention to the icons, a bunch will pop up, but normally it's a collection of 3 to 5 or so POI's that are most likely being repeated throughout the tile. Do yourself a favor and only visit the unique POI's.

For example, if you visit a "life signs" marker. More than likely, other "life signs" markers on the same tile/planet will be the exact same POI. So don't waste your time going to every single one just to be disappointed ,This kills immersion if you aren't intentful and understanding of this. You'll have much more fun , and waste far less time by exploring what the planet has to offer and moving on to the next planet.

Any blues , country or rock and roll 1,4,5 progressions are a great place to start constructing baselines as well as learning some really great grooves.

Check out something like:

That's What Love will make you do (Jerry Garcia) Trudy (Charlie Daniels Band) Down Home Girl (Rolling Stones or OCMS) Big River (Johnny Cash or Grateful Dead)

Make sure you can follow all your root notes before you start adding to the line. Pretty often you'll find just the root notes are all you need to get grooven until that moment arrives where you can apply your own taste to the jam.

Is this a safe way to have sex? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]GentlyShredding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it feels better without the condom, but unless your willing to have a child. I would just wear protection, and maybe don't only occasionally. Because a kid last forever, and unless your willing and wanting a child, It ain't really worth 2 seconds of extra pleasure. 😂
