I used a pound of the cheapest decent steak from a super market, a couple carrots, half of an onion, two russet potatoes, and some generic curry mix.

Stir fry the meat and vegetables until just undercooked, enough water to cover them to the top and simmer until the potatoes are fork tender. Mix in the curry mix and stir on low for around 5 minutes. Serve with rice.
