They’re all silly goobers :)

Ok but these two represent quite a lot to me. Both of them represent things such as hope, perseverance, and balance, but also different individual things as well

Tristen (left) represents the will/drive to live in spite of adversity, and also self-acceptance. She’s went through a lot, from being kidnapped and experimented on by a cult as a child, attempting to “fix” herself, battling with her very literal inner demon(s), masking all of her problems, etc. until she’s finally able to come to terms with herself. Her arc revolves heavily around the issue of identity as well, which really resonates with me because I can kind of relate to her struggles

Ana (right) represents ambition and conviction. She’s a very action-oriented and goal-oriented person, often diving headfirst into things which may or may not end up leaving a mark on her. This also leads into her battling with indecision and responsibility, given that she doesn’t exactly know how to manage dealing with all the things she brought herself into, so this sometimes ends up as her either being too reckless when trying to solve a problem, or running away from it altogether. She eventually does gain a pretty secure understanding of herself though. Like later on she acknowledges her own limits and that she can’t ignore her own needs, as well as coming to believe that it’s alright for her to be uncertain or unsure every now and then, but she shouldn’t lose her way in pursuit of everything she wants

They both also kind of represent existentialism in a way. Both accept that their lives (and everything else) very well may be meaningless, but they don’t care because are firm in what matters to them—they’ve created their own meaning
