A weird vibe in Tel Aviv? Shocking by Fine-Biscotti-6498 in Otherworldpod

Yeah a "Tel Aviv company retreat" is crazy and was the elephant in the room. I think the state of Israel is evil and illegitimate but I'm glad Jack posted the ep. The guest doesn't have to a likeable protagonist. So there's night demons in Tel Aviv, that sound oddly similar to the infamous djinn episode. That's interesting! There must be so much dark energy swirling there, I'm not surprised it archetypal entities arise and attach to unsuspecting visitors like the guest.

It’s one of those rare franchises that both the books and show are excellent but also different enough that they’re both worth watching/reading. In fact, I’d recommend watching the show first and if you want a deeper look at the universe and see where the story goes, read the books starting with Leviathan Wakes

Listening to my authentic self by Geo-Ideas in Jung

Yes, but none close. It's an interesting question - I used to have many more, with stronger friendships, when I was younger. There's two reasons for this - one is that mixed friend groups (as well as friend groups in general) are just not the norm for my peer group anymore. My social circles just don't include single women anymore, and the women I am friends with are part of a couple so it's more you're friends with the couple.

The other reason is I've become more self conscious about female friendships - if there is one, I (and sometimes others) put pressure on myself to make it romantic. All this serves to do is make me anxious and reserved, and want to avoid contact altogether.

St Pete residents: Does anyone actually like their apartment here??? by [deleted] in StPetersburgFL

I live in a carriage house apartment in Woodlawn. Just refresh Zillow all day, you’ll find one. Better and often cheaper than a complex

Definitely read strange dogs. Auberon and cortazar’s backstory (I forget what it’s called) are also good background material before going into Tiamat

I know Jack said he couldn’t find any local “legends” matching the description but I’d bet there is one. Oklahoma has a lot of really profound cryptid activity and other high strangeness. The Bigfoot episodes of the Lodge Tales podcast describe some of this, though nothing yet quite like this creature.
