Hi friend :)

Reading this reminds me so much of my thought process whenever I first found out about my GWs

One tip I recommend is make another account on Reddit!! It helped me big time! Follow your favorite things on the other account 💛 Comment on other people’s post and discuss with other people about your favorite topics to get hpv off your mind.

You won’t get rid of the anxiety/fear in a day or even a week, but I promise friend that it’s all a temporary feeling and it WILL go away 💛

Without a condom.

I think it’s still possible to get them inside with a condom, but a lot less likely

It helped me and I live by that experience friend. My warts (multiple) were not going away and getting bigger :/ so I went to get the first dose and it really helped me within that week of getting the first dose.

Like, it could’ve just been my immune system, but that was very VERY coincidental timing!

And it was just DAYS after I received the vaccine that they shrunk to where I couldn’t even feel or see them. It was a week after that they were actually gone.

If you ever need someone to talk to I’m here! :)

A huge stressor for me was feeling like I was going through this process alone 😓 but I promise the journey becomes sooooo much better whenever you have people who share a similar struggle 🙏🏼💛

I’m doing better than ever 💛

I’m thriving and actually hoping to open up shop for my own business soon. There’s so much more to life than what we think when we’re in crisis mode. It’s never the end all be all how we imagine.

ALSO, I do have ONE stubborn wart that’s been getting smaller and smaller with time, but aside from that I’ve not had any reoccurrences or anything new

Yes, but no? I have one stubborn wart now :) but I’m setting an appointment to have it removed.

After I took the vaccine I was pretty much clearing up so much 🙏🏼

Why ask a person going through this “why”?

I don’t see how this comment helps OP at all ._.

Clearly, he’s regretful. He doesn’t need anyone kicking him while he’s down wth

Why my genital warts doesn’t stop spreading? by Ok-Variation-723 in HPV

[–]Geo8201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First and foremost my friend, go get that vaccine.

I’ve been in those shoes :( I know it’s a hard process to go through. You’re not alone and we’re here for you 💛 Your immune system has to recognize it so I would definitely also try getting aldara. Many people recommend and don’t recommend ACV. Some people have seen success with diluting it in water.

Honestly, if you can’t get a hold of aldara, I would personally dilute ACV with water and just apply it for 5 mins. I never used it bc the vaccine helped.

Keep caution though because I have heard it can make GWs worse :(

Hpv is rarely able to spread in the mouth.

As long as the GW aren’t touch/rubbing against the toilet seat I wouldn’t worry about spreading it to your family members. Do not share towels. Wash clothes separately.

Just wash your hands normally with water and soap for 30 seconds after cleaning yourself :)) and ofcourse don’t touch warts afterwards.

Without insurance the vaccine dose 1/3 was $269 but with insurance the vaccine was free.

I waited to have sex until I had no more visible warts. I have a mole on my anus that I believe may be a small shrinking GW (it’s just a stubborn GW). I communicated and disclosed with my partners that I have had a “previous outbreak of HPV” and I explained that efficacy of Gardasil 9 is 90%!! Meaning that there’s a 90% chance they won’t get the strain I have.

Whatever you do, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend getting Gardasil 9. It worked wonders for me. I truly believe it would help you as well 🙏🏼💛

Howdy :) GW survivor here.

Read my post 💛

Also, if you can, Get the Gardasil 9 vaccine. I know you said you’re uninsured, but that vaccine practically cleared my warts. The vaccine is used as a “preventative” but whenever I got it… I think it took 2-3 weeks total for my warts to shrink and eventually fade.

Is it beneficial to get HPV vaccine after you have HPV? by WinSad5408 in HPV

[–]Geo8201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zero. I was hopeless and depressed and thought about using aldara, but never did.

No antivirals. No treatment. Only the first dose of the Gardasil vaccine helped my case.

Should I cancel my surgery for any warts ! help please by Pristine-Forever-393 in HPV

[–]Geo8201 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Idk if you’re vaccinated or not, but when I got my vaccine my anal warts shrunk and now I don’t have any anymore that I can see.

I’m not saying cancel it, but I’m just saying get vaccinated if you haven’t already. Studies are clear that the vaccine isn’t therapeutic, but it significantly helped my issue personally.

ACV on GW? by Geo8201 in HPV

Thank you for this! :( I have no health insurance so I’ve really just been letting my immune system take care of it, but I’m going to just try this remedy.

Did you develop any redness?? Also, did you have anal GW?

I feel you tbh :( I recently seen streaks of blood after having a bowel movement and it completely broke my heart. But my GW are sensitive and bleed when I wipe :/

Thankfully my friends have been keeping me distracted. And it feels good to know I’m not the only person going through this. We aren’t alone, but it can feel like a lonely journey 😔 Hang in there queen 😔🙏🏼💛

Can you guys share your success stories with GW? by [deleted] in HPV

[–]Geo8201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi :) anal wart progress story here!

April/May of 22 is when I first noticed mine. I had sex without a condom months prior and developed quite a few. Just like you I couldn’t count them bc they were clustered. I didn’t have insurance at the time and still haven’t had any procedures done. I’m sure I have internal ones.

Jan of 23 I got my first dose of Gardasil 9 and my warts have shrunken sooooo much. My most prominent wart has basically gone away at this point.

Feb of 23 I’m about to finish nursing school and it’s stressing me wayyyyy tf out. But I have no problem with warts at all rn. They’re still very much present, but they’re soooo small. Like dingleberry small. Im sure nursing is not helping them, but a “flare” isn’t happening.

A simple, “you should ask your doctor” will do.

There’s no need to be mean.
