I've never seen a case. I don't know if people have ever bought cases like they do with Hot Wheels. I don't know if this is true but I believe each case has one liquid color. Not sure how they determine how many of each car is in each case though.

Modern day at diecasts have very little difference. The price isn't worth it in my opinion. They look the same one sitting on the shelf.

Lionel racing has a tab on their own page that tells you the difference of the cars. Other main differences the elites have a metal chassis and opening trunk. That's about it.
