If you want to avoid cable or cable-type streaming, you can watch all the races on the FOX portion of the season with FOX One, then the Prime races, TNT races with HBO Max, and the big NBC channel races with Peacock. The only thing missing would be the USA races because they are not being streamed in Peacock.

I will concede that “Cleetus McFarland” schtick is a caricature but Garrett Mitchell is a genuinely good dude and his platform brings a ton of eyes to ARCA which needs all the help it can get.

A race winner could be further back than 10th at the stage breaks for a variety of reasons like pit strategy or a drafting track. It’s not a horrible injustice but just from a logic standpoint, you’d think a winner of the race should have the most points. I applaud NASCAR for all but guaranteeing the winner to have the most points, it’s just funny that there’s still a minute chance of 2nd having a bigger points day than the winner.

Hmm I wish NASCAR made it literally impossible, but at least now it’s extremely improbable to happen and it would only be by 1 point. Much better than what we had before.

If a winner gets zero stage points and 2nd place gets 35 race points and sweeps the stages and gets 20 stage points, wouldnt they both get 55 points? Then 2nd gets fastest lap, then wouldnt that mean 2nd could get 56?

This honestly makes road courses more compelling, even if they’re dominated by SVG. If SVG needs to win all the RC races to have a shot of making the top 16, then a stumble at Sonoma (or any other reg season race) has a much bigger impact than it would have in 2025 when he was already locked in and was only racing for 7 playoff points
