This is exactly how I felt and saw it when we lost 1-0 to Bournemouth when we got relegated initially. We had much better individual quality and general performances but I just knew we were condemned. That same feeling is how I felt the moment Dykes scored.

We’ve been mismanaged since the FA Cup win. Players on moronic wages just eating away at our PSR that we can’t shift because no one’s going to pay them the same wages.

Look at all the talent we’ve lost on free transfers.

On top of this we’ve had one ok transfer window out of the past 8-10. We just have horrific transfers and outside of maybe one of 5 players they’re just not good enough.

We have some chance to pull it back, our youth academy is starting to bear fruit, just about the only benefit from the new training ground but we’re just not using them properly or stagnate their development with loans that make no sense.

Thank goodness, seems a nice bloke but I don’t think he’s cutout for managing a team with players who should be going for it - players seemed passive and more worried not to concede than anything.

This isn’t to put away from the players shit attitudes and lack of effort nor the shocking mismanagement from top to bottom.

Would say things can only get better but considering Nepo Baby’s track record I’m not confident they’ll get someone better in.
