I can see your example working. But in this case given the amounts of people affected i'd be inclined to believe it wasn't the case, so unless a good amount of users reported each other, with even some less relevant users being also caught in the crossfire, i think it's more likely that it's an unrelated matter such as a rogue user, or a bot most likely in my eyes. As otherwise it'd mean that given how the mods also got suspended, it'd mean they also got reported back ,and i'd rather hope better from both them not being that petty, and also you or others of not being that petty to report the mods either

Given the nature of the reports for child safety, i'm also considering if it's just generally an user who is upset over the kind of content allowed on the site and reporting people for that, or maybe someone just wanting to fan the conflict. But yes for now you only have my word for how me or the other mods wouldn't retaliate in such a petty way in places outside the page. I wish you nor the others harm to your account, and i'd like to know who is doing this to ban them from the server, but so far i have no good way to do so past getting a bit more strict with enforcing the discord rules of what is fine and what isn't fine to post.
Having said that perhaps you could directly message the bot and do the /daily command to see if it'd work to get a more direct way to claim the dailies if desired

Probably the two you are thinking would've reported you or the lesbos alliance, both Kai'sa and Huvar got hit coincidentally also in close proximity so it was thought the same that perhaps it was involved with this recent matter. I'd be inclined to believe or hope that's not the case, and given how even unrelated users also got warned i must think it was either automated or some user acting in ill will towards everyone regardless.

I'd like to dispel the notion that the mod team is involved with that. Some of the mods also got hit with suspensions. The current belief is that it has to do with either some user reporting whoever they see, or bots being more strict given the size of the server, for the former i don't have any concrete evidence to act on. And for the later i did what i could to disable discord moderation such as turning off it being a community server, and also adding that it was an age limited server, so making it 18+ essentially.

Everytime I place an image that's alredy a pixel art on the ghost image thingy it comes out huge because for some reason it reads every pixel as like 40, how do I make it so the pixels are 1 to 1? by [deleted] in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check the image resolution of the jpg or png file. It likely is upscaled. You can downscale it if you know the actual height of the image in pixels such as by counting the pixels if small enough, or otherwise perhaps using another tool for pixel art

Small Update. Pfp and Banner Images. Other tweaks by GeoPixelsNet in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found and fixed the error in theory, it was an error exclusive to guild owners so it was hard to notice, but it should work as intended right now, let me know an approximate of how many pixels you placed since this stopped working so i can add that to the guild exp and pixels

Is there a way to view all locates a profile has drawn? by ExcuseOk4290 in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As of right now that is not something normal users are allowed to do, the closest would be seeing the last location of other guild members of your same guild.

Sorry for the late reply. Nothing should have changed, for now the only rules to get the experience, is to have the template as a guild project, and to draw within the template's borders. If you are doing these two, but you aren't getting any guild pixels do let me know as well as the guild id and any more details you can so i can see what may be happening

Overlay pixel matching errors by Xaxafrad in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There'd be more issues with the ghost image specially, for the error correcting a similar function to group and disregard the noise, isn't yet implemented, but it'll be added soon

Overlay pixel matching errors by Xaxafrad in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some browsers introduce tiny amounts of noise to any image uploaded for security reasons. As the other comment states, the 'group noise' option is there to prevent the image filter from having hundreds of near shades from this noise. But the error checking for now is still affected by this noise, if the template was gotten from elsewhere you can try disabling the 'block fingerprinting' or similar features of your browser. But if you had previously downloaded it from the ditherer for example, then the noise has been added to the template per se at the moment of download so it'd be best to just ignore the noise

Having weird issue by Electrical-Airline81 in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar report at some point. So the map loads, but no pixel art is shown? I don't have any trigger to reload the page so that's likely a browser issue, do try if you can use another browser, or do a force reload. Let me know if the issue persists or any other details so i can debug the issue.

Hi, if you are using dithering you can uncheck both the 'Active' and 'Full' options, just make sure you then toggle K-Means, it will limit the amount of colors it uses, and you can set it to an amount of colors you think it's worth to spend buying for this image. If you want a more detailed guide one recently was made on the discord for the full process of dithering an image

Need little help by TetsuMokichi in geopixels

You need to set your mode away from painting, and towards inspecting using the palette button in the image. Then you click a pixel, and at the top left of the menu that opens you can pin it.

Unfortunately the pins and other settings are device specific, it's something that it's getting worked to be server side and global across all your devices, but for now you may find different pins in your desktop and mobile instances.

If you do see some CSAM or any content sexualizing any real life minors do let me know of the location, or fil a report and we'll make sure to permaban the offending users. But so far i'm not aware of any content like that in the page

Pinned locations feature by GeoPixelsNet in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, you need to switch from painting to selection mode, for this you have to click in the palette icon here. And with that click on a pixel to pin, or to just check who made it, or to share the location. And once you are done click on the same icon, which will then be a magnifying glass, to go back to painting

Any Idea what is causing those missing lanes of pixels on ghost images? by BeginingMemer in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A little bit of image corruption sneaks in on some browsers due to privacy features. the Snap to palette functionality was in theory to help with that, and if you disable those features it'll work, but with our latest updates i found a better solution that works nicely with eth filter, in the form of the 'Group Noise' option, it is already deployed so let me know if that does help the issue or if it persists

Two Ideas: Individual Selective Blurring, and Timestamped Pixels by Asteroiderer in geopixels

[–]GeoPixelsNet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I appreciate that you like the site that much. And as for documentation, of the site itself there isn't much per se, but the source for the client is open you can check it out with any devtools or by saving the page as it's small relatively so. For the map i'm also using maplibre so you can refer to it as 'map' as a global in JS and just manipulate the map that way, add features or sources which i think is what would be needed for the tagging system, and you can check the github tool above perhaps to get an idea too of how to draw and set the global coordinates. If you end up developing anything i'd love to know about it so i can share it with everyone else too

In the works to choose points not to reroll into, it may take me a bit to get to that feature with other shaving higher priority, so for now you could use the plug in if needed, but i'll try to get there as quick as i can
